I had the same idea. However , the base GLE was more expensive and still missing the options that were important to me. I ended up going the Pinnacle level GLC.
Nice review, thanks! You mentioned some rivals but what about the Genesis GV 70? I took the GV 70 for a test drive and Loved it but not sure about the quality or customer service. I just might go this new GLC out!
I never bought my 2024 GLC because I couldn’t afford a GLE for Christs sake. I made a choice of what I wanted and the GLE is just too damn big for my needs. Why do tuberyoubers put their reasoning down the throats of everyone and announce that as everyone else’s reasoning. You don’t speak for all GLC buyers 🤷🏻♂️ An otherwise good review.
Any Idea why they went with a touch screen for essential buttons like heating and air? Hepatic touch steering wheel? I think it is the most frustrating! Cadillac, Lexus, Mazda and Toyota have learned that you cant put everything on a touchscreen and forget about hepatic anything while your driving! WTF! Once you hit a bump and your hovering over a button. Boom! instand mistake! Must have a new interior design team. Everything else is really nice.
MB reliability is down in the mud per most recent CR. I’m wondering if this model is an exception to it being that it’s MB’s bread and butter in the lineup?
I have the 2023 GLC 300 4Matic. The car is smooth, easy to drive. But after 30 miles the car stopped working. The Battery died, jump start won't work , and it took almost 3 hours to get it towed with its 24-Roadside assistance. For the price that I've paid, it's not worth at all.
I'm not quite sure (could be a software issue) what was the issue with the battery. Had to tow it to service and struggle getting a loaner car. Took service a 5 days to fix and return my car. Not considering some annoying software bugs, nothing to mention.
@@mikeolson7557 have it in 2 vehicles and my other, 20 year old merc has the most supple leather - that has worn so wonderfully that I just cannot believe this plastic will look that good.
The GLC is not the second choice of people who cannot afford a GLE, the GLC is the first choice that want that size of an SUV
Sir, your commentary is SUPERB. You’ve sold me. Thank you.
Picking this beauty up this week and CANNOT WAIT. Thanks for the excellent review!
How’s your experience on this model so far? No issues? Reliability? Car looks great.
Amazing job with my dream vehicle dude.
Great POV! I really like the improvements they have made.
LOL, many can afford a GLE but prefer the size and new design of the GLC.
I enjoyed your video. Excellent POV👍🏻
A lot of options here. I’d be interested to see a base 2023 GLE vs a GLC matching in features. I bet the spread in $ is minimal.

GLC starts at € 72000 here. That $51K is a bargain. But wait.. the 300 or the 300e? I haven't seen a 300 here, only the PHEV.

The traffic in our City is very disordered, can I switch on/ off Active Brake Assist by MBUX voice assistant?

Its stuck there forever, so its not the worst.

Nice vehicle. Considering Mazda has a SUV that's the same price.

What was the issue on the battery? Should be new. 12V battery not enough to handle electronics continuously when engine’s off? Any other issues?

At this day in age, there are legitimately jeep wranglers that are more expensive than this LOL
Hate the fake leather, but otherwise
You would be surprised. It is extremely durable and wears better than leather. I’ve had both in past vehicles and actually prefer it.
