Why would the “Heat and Noise Insulating Glass” be made available only for the top of the line trim, the pinnacle? That is supposed to be a standard feature of a benz!
I agree. Manufacturers are cutting cost and creating extra options. The standard glass is not bad at all.

I'm hearing a lot of conflicting information perhaps you can clarify. Does the LED digital lights work in US cars the way it works in the EU? Is it more than just the old adaptive highbeams? Does it actually project anything besides the opening sequence?
LED Digital Light Headlamps with projections are available on pinnacle trim only. As far as I know you cannot add these to premium or exclusive trims.
What exactly makes the pinnacle trim better than exclusive trim? Just wondering if it’s really worth it

Any idea on the comfort of front seats? good for wider bodies and long trips?
For the short time i was able to test it it felt comfortable. Seats are not "too sporty" allowing larger bodies to fit.

Nice job. However, in tis kind of comparison I would not have used the AMG version. It becomes confusing how much of it is new look and how much of it is AMG look.
This is not an AMG vehicle just the AMG trim making it looks spprtier. The regular trim has different bumpers and wheels.
Beautiful vehicle. But with all the blind spot assistance and cameras, why not a turn signal camera in the center display when a signal is activated. Hyundai managed to do it in the Santa Fe Caligraphy. All the tech is there yet MB failed to implement that simple blind spot feature.
I really like that feature on Hyundais
I just have to ask, how tall are you because you are taller than that car. I stand next to my GLC and im not as tall and im 6'0

Any Idea why they went with a touch screen for everything, even essential buttons like heating and air? Hepatic touch steering wheel? Try using that while turning or on ruff surface. I think it is the most frustrating! Cadillac, Lexus, Mazda and Toyota have learned that you cant put everything on a touchscreen and forget about hepatic anything while your driving. And no reviewers are talking about that. Must have a new interior design team. Everything else is really nice.
What is hepatic touch? The screen is where most cars are going. It is very accurate, you can also control it via voice.

The highest trims should have Napa leather..come on Mercedes. You can do it. Mazda does it on the cx5.

Great review Matt..thanks! We’re trying to decide between this exact ‘build’ (but without 4Matic) in a 2024, vs the ‘24 BMW X3. Which would you pick?
@@GuitarGolfingPOPS i have not tested the 24 BMW X3 so I am not sure how it would compare to this, however i have driven 2022 X3. In terms of driving it has a sportier feel, a bit stiffer than the glc. It has better acceleration. Where in my opinion GLC wins is definitely the comfort and technology. I would definitely recommend driving both if possible the same day so you have a good comparison and go with the one that feels better for you. Thanks for watching!
The fake exhausts, at this point, just seems like a failure to meet a design challenge. At least they got rid of the chrome plate framing the fake exhausts.
I have a feeling it has to do with emissions and EPA
next time, try the normal mode first to test the bump. Then the sport mode for cornering😅
@@zulkiflimohamed-gi2fr makes a big difference. I test in sport mode for the most part as I only have a limited time with the vehicle. With MB you can definitely feel the difference.
The off road display is silly. The only off roading most GLC models will see is if they go over a curb at the drive thru.

2023 Bmw x3- 243 hp, 2023 Audi q5 - 201hp, just as comparison 2002 ML 320 was at 215hp. On paper genesis gv70 seems like more powerful option even with base engine at 300hp but glc beats it 0-60 by 0.4s.
Love this car... but Mercedes Service is just freaking overpriced :P
It is not cheap but their services have longer intervals (10k miles) plus you can get a discounted maintenance plan to help ease the pain 😅

Be warned: Hello, are there any other customers with a GLC W254 300e AMG-line (2023) -same goes for the GLC coupé or the 2023 C classe (w206) with an incomplete the ambient lighting
(despite having paid for the SA894 option)?
FYI, The assembly plant runs out of LEDs (among others) and assembles the vehicles without installing the missing LEDs. (Air vents, door handles and central console edges)
They deliver the NEW GLCs to customers and IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO HAVE A RETRO-FIT NOR A REFUND. Quote Mercedes-Benz.
This is how we are treated: "the customer just has to be happy to be able to pay a good price for a one of our vehicles..."
You don't believe me? Ask your dealer (they ave an internal memo with the details)
Based on the model I take it you are not in USA. I have seen vehicles missing equipment but they always have credit given to customer. I have seen some without power seats!
@@MattTheCarguy Yes, Belgium. How can they get away with this??? They are offering 150 Euros. A retrofit costs around 1400 Euros!!! Only if you get a "real" AMG model, you are shur to have a compleete car.

@@MattTheCarguy : A court ruling, here in Belgium, ordered a dealer to replace the car: it was missing a cruise-control. My lawyer said that that would help to get them to retro fit my enhanced lighting... we'll see.
@@astridscius8066 they should if they delivered something that you did not order. If you agreed to it prior to purchase that's another thing.
