Donadea 50k 2023 - A Runners Perspective

The Irish 50K Championship is comprised of 10 loops of a 5km forest trail. I was very fortunate to pair up with Brian Buckley for the first 30K and we trotted along talking all things ultra running. There is a 5 hour cut off so the atmosphere in those final minutes was electric. Hats off to Anto (race director) and all the volunteers for putting on what is a very unique race.
