Lian's little expressions and genuine questions for Kuea have been actually so fun to watch. He clearly adores and admires Kuea. His questions for Kuea such as, "Are you bored? Do you want to go home? Rae you tired? Are you hungry?" are questions I noticed he asked on Kuea trying to break Kuea's perfect, prim and proper facade. He wants Kuea to break off and tell him he's hungry so thus Lian would order the food and possibly have their date on his office instead, asking him if he's bored and it is probably fine to just listen to music together and Kuea can goof around. I can hear Lian's thought running on a mess when he heard Kuea saying "I am willing to wait for you because I love you", it's like I can hear Lian saying, "If you really love me, you don't have to hide your true self from me because I accept who and how goofy you are." And when Kuea said to break off the arrange marriage, it is obvious Lian's whole system crumbles lol. This series have it's long way to go and this will surely be a hit, totally. I've been with Zee during his WRU The Series and I saw how amazing and talented actor he is from his first series. And to see him on this new series makes me so happy and proud is such an understatement. His range in acting is so amazing. I hope I get to see more of his range. I love Nunew as well. His emotions are still new and raw given that this is his first acting career, but just the way he delivers, he surely also has a long way to go in the industry. I want to see them both on a heavy scene coz I just know it will be a great one.

Lian likes when he sees those small flashes of Kuea's real personality (telling the girl that he's Lian's fiancee to be spicy and when he was jamming to the song), but I think years of Kuea acting perfect and only ever smiling and being sweet, like a doll, has worn him down and made Kuea someone he doesn't want to be around anymore. If Lian knew more of Kuea he'd definitely fall for him.
This is a year ago xD but i just watched the series now, but I think it might also be like Lian’s conflicted because he wants Kuea to be himself and seeing that Kuea has to pretend to be someone he’s not during their engagement, maybe part of the reason why Lian’s holding back is he might be contemplating letting Kuea go and be himself while also juggling the promise he made to their grandparents. The premise is sooo interesting. I couldnt believe it at first. An established relationship right off the bat?!? Quite unheard of in BL. But then i found out about the actual circumstances and was even more shook. It's new and unique. This is promising.
I'm happy Kuea is already showing his backbone, I would be annoyed as Hia Lian with someone not showing any personality too, but the way Lian looked a Kuea when he was playing his imaginary drums was different, like he's looking at another person.
Yeah I like that both of them are not static with their emotions. Kuea obviously has a strong personality and character. His love for Hia doesn't make him blind, he will fight for his love but knows his worth as well. Hia Lian surprised me. His character is also not static like in a lot of dramas with the "cold rude CEO". He is polite and respectful the way he talks tho he is direct with his words. I can also see a sense of warmth in his eyes even when he is pretending to ignore him. Also those flashbacks makes him feel more humane. Also surprisingly Hia Lian doesn't seem too arrogant and full of himself at least not yet so it feels refreshing.
What I really like so far is that, I can absolutely understand both sides heere. Of course we're more inclined to side with Kuea, because it's his POV and we see him trying his best to be the perfect husband, and putting all his effort into this love he believes in. And in his eyes, Hia is just cold and distant and, now, apparently not actually loving him. Of course that'd hurt him, especially since he apparently assumed the opposite. Butt I honestly absolutely get Hia, too. Like, imagine Kuea was the usual female "side-chick" in a normal BL: He'd fit the role so perfectly, lmao. No personality, just trying to please, only trying to be on their best behavior, liking everything the protagonist gives, and urging them to commit to love, sour when something ruins the perfect time. I honestly admire that Hia told him straight out what he felt, and we can't blame him for not loving someone, so it's good he didn't lead Kuea on or anything. I do wonder how they must have grown apart in their childhood/teenage-years, since they seemed rather close as children. Also, lmao, imagine saying you want to marry someone as a child, and now your whole fam goes: "Aight." (Did the other kid even get to have a say in it...?) P.S.: ... *Engineering.*
watching it through for the 3rd time and looking back at it, know what i know now about how this series ends, Lian is very careful with his words. or at least the writers we careful with his words lol. a lot of what he says about their relationship is very open ended and ambiguous lol. “I don’t think it’s love, YET.” “I wanna marry a human. not a doll.” like these things can be taken like “I don’t love you.” but in reality he was telling Kuea like “Babes, you gotta be real with me and then it’s real love. quit acting like some doll.”
I love Kuea inner turmoil moments, he’s so cute and I can’t help loving his character. Can’t wait for the time when he bursts out and show Kirin and act like that to Lian.
I have just started watching this series and I can't help but laugh at Kuea's relaxed action, beating air drum and small little bored movements and always smiling towards at his sun, Hia Lian. So lovely

I think I understand Lian's Point when he says he doesn't want to marry a doll like Nu kuea doesn't show any emotion he's like a robot always happy with everything while inside he's boiling maybe Lian wants him to be lively not a "a yes sir" "no sir" type of person

I'm loving the series, and it's just the first episode. I can't wait for the next one to air. I am upset that I missed the premiere of this episode. My bell didn't work.Although I'm not a fan of arranged marriages, I have to give props to Grandpa. What grandpa would ever do something like that for 2 boys? I don't know what Hia is going through, but he'll get it together. He needs to relax; Hia definitely needs to let Kuea be himself, and both need to stop lying to each other.
I love how each of the 4 feel like a whole episode and not parts of a whole episode! Love the long feeling and emotions portrayed in each! A lot is happening already in episode 1 and I love it!!
I bet Hia Lian wants Kuea to come out of that fake character so he said he's like an Anabelle doll heh 😃 and once he does, it's gonna be epic and it's gonna be Hia that will fall harder 😃 10/10 for the first episode, hands down!
My God!! I can't it's just too funny, even after so many repeats. Especially the background music at 3:10, which makes the situation even more hilarious. And Kuea forgetting his perfect little master image and Lian's amusement, followed by Kuea's "hu-hu-hu" on being caught, Lian's disappointment about Kuea's return to being a young master, which is expressed just the right way and in the right amount, neither too exaggerated nor too little that it is completely unnoticeable.

Ok, this is actually a fun setup for a romance! Kuea pretended to be what he believed to be Hia Lian's preference in love, but in doing so he ended up hiding all the parts that makes him interesting and attracted Hia Lian to him as a friend in the first place. So now it's up to him to show his real self to the guy he so obviously loves! Btw, I have to give this series credit for not hiding that the engagement Kuea's grandfather suddenly arranged was more than a little unorthodox! I'm guessing that the grandfather wasn't actually intending for them to get married, but rather wanted to arrange for his little grandson to have a reason to keep a trustworthy friend around. Fingers crossed that Hia Lian will return Kuea's feelings eventually, because Kuea obviously has it bad for his fiancée!

This series is giving off a kdrama vibes, and I love it so much.
Lian likes when he sees those small flashes of Kuea's real personality (telling the girl that he's Lian's fiancee to be spicy and when he was jamming to the song), but I think years of Kuea acting perfect and only ever smiling and being sweet, like a doll, has worn him down and made Kuea someone he doesn't want to be around anymore. If Lian knew more of Kuea he'd definitely fall for him.
This is a year ago xD but i just watched the series now, but I think it might also be like Lian’s conflicted because he wants Kuea to be himself and seeing that Kuea has to pretend to be someone he’s not during their engagement, maybe part of the reason why Lian’s holding back is he might be contemplating letting Kuea go and be himself while also juggling the promise he made to their grandparents. He’s feeling a lot of things rn T.T

I'm happy Kuea is already showing his backbone, I would be annoyed as Hia Lian with someone not showing any personality too, but the way Lian looked a Kuea when he was playing his imaginary drums was different, like he's looking at another person.
Yeah I like that both of them are not static with their emotions. Kuea obviously has a strong personality and character. His love for Hia doesn't make him blind, he will fight for his love but knows his worth as well. Hia Lian surprised me. His character is also not static like in a lot of dramas with the "cold rude CEO". He is polite and respectful the way he talks tho he is direct with his words. I can also see a sense of warmth in his eyes even when he is pretending to ignore him. Also those flashbacks makes him feel more humane. Also surprisingly Hia Lian doesn't seem too arrogant and full of himself at least not yet so it feels refreshing.

What I really like so far is that, I can absolutely understand both sides heere.
Of course we're more inclined to side with Kuea, because it's his POV and we see him trying his best to be the perfect husband, and putting all his effort into this love he believes in. And in his eyes, Hia is just cold and distant and, now, apparently not actually loving him. Of course that'd hurt him, especially since he apparently assumed the opposite.
Butt I honestly absolutely get Hia, too. Like, imagine Kuea was the usual female "side-chick" in a normal BL: He'd fit the role so perfectly, lmao. No personality, just trying to please, only trying to be on their best behavior, liking everything the protagonist gives, and urging them to commit to love, sour when something ruins the perfect time.
I honestly admire that Hia told him straight out what he felt, and we can't blame him for not loving someone, so it's good he didn't lead Kuea on or anything.
I do wonder how they must have grown apart in their childhood/teenage-years, since they seemed rather close as children.
Also, lmao, imagine saying you want to marry someone as a child, and now your whole fam goes: "Aight." (Did the other kid even get to have a say in it...?)

watching it through for the 3rd time and looking back at it, know what i know now about how this series ends, Lian is very careful with his words. or at least the writers we careful with his words lol. a lot of what he says about their relationship is very open ended and ambiguous lol. “I don’t think it’s love, YET.” “I wanna marry a human. not a doll.” like these things can be taken like “I don’t love you.” but in reality he was telling Kuea like “Babes, you gotta be real with me and then it’s real love. quit acting like some doll.”

I think I understand Lian's Point when he says he doesn't want to marry a doll like Nu kuea doesn't show any emotion he's like a robot always happy with everything while inside he's boiling maybe Lian wants him to be lively not a "a yes sir" "no sir" type of person

I'm loving the series, and it's just the first episode. I can't wait for the next one to air. I am upset that I missed the premiere of this episode. My bell didn't work.Although I'm not a fan of arranged marriages, I have to give props to Grandpa. What grandpa would ever do something like that for 2 boys? I don't know what Hia is going through, but he'll get it together. He needs to relax; Hia definitely needs to let Kuea be himself, and both need to stop lying to each other.

My God!! I can't it's just too funny, even after so many repeats. Especially the background music at 3:10, which makes the situation even more hilarious. And Kuea forgetting his perfect little master image and Lian's amusement, followed by Kuea's "hu-hu-hu" on being caught, Lian's disappointment about Kuea's return to being a young master, which is expressed just the right way and in the right amount, neither too exaggerated nor too little that it is completely unnoticeable.

พอได้อ่านแล้ว ต้องพูดว่า "ขอชื่นชมคนเขียนบทซีรีส์" จริงๆ เพราะปรับแต่งซีรีส์ออกมาได้ดีมากๆ 👍
คือ Dialogue โต้ตอบกันมันกลมกล่อม กระชับ ได้อรรถรส และการเพิ่มขึ้นมาของบท ทำให้ตัวละครมีความน่าสนใจมากขึ้น
อย่าง Shot ที่เกื้อนั่งฟังเพลงตอนรอเฮีย อันนี้คือ ทั้งเขิน ทั้งตลก มันมีความน่ารัก แล้วก็ความน่าลุ้น
ซึ่งกลัวว่าเฮียจะรู้ในความที่เกื้อแอบมีบุคลิกที่ Contrast กัน...
แต่แม้จะมีการเพิ่ม หรือปรับบทอย่างไร โครงเรื่อง และ Keyword ก็ยังคงอยู่ครบถ้วนเหมือนเดิม

Ok, this is actually a fun setup for a romance! Kuea pretended to be what he believed to be Hia Lian's preference in love, but in doing so he ended up hiding all the parts that makes him interesting and attracted Hia Lian to him as a friend in the first place. So now it's up to him to show his real self to the guy he so obviously loves! Btw, I have to give this series credit for not hiding that the engagement Kuea's grandfather suddenly arranged was more than a little unorthodox! I'm guessing that the grandfather wasn't actually intending for them to get married, but rather wanted to arrange for his little grandson to have a reason to keep a trustworthy friend around. Fingers crossed that Hia Lian will return Kuea's feelings eventually, because Kuea obviously has it bad for his fiancée!
