Can we talk about how Lian: put Kuea on top, stopped for the first sign, talked despite of excitement, confessed repeatedly, admitted fault, restarted gently, made sure Kuea knows what is happening, waited to move on till he was comfortable again, told him to say if anything is wrong, gave Kuea time to get used to new feelings... Respected him in every possible way. And how Kuea opened up, offering his heart on a plate... This is how people in love make love. The direction of the love making scene is pitch perfectly reflect this respect as well: just enough visuals to understand where we are, but leaving the most to the imagination, so everyone can live this sensual feeling on their own. This is a whole new level of interpretation of love between boys / men, and I cannot thank the creators enough.
That maybe was one of longest and realest and healthiest and hotest loves scenes ever made in BL history for someone who's a BL fan for over 12 years and watched a decent number of BL from different countries and cultures but this was another level chemistry was unexpectedly real thanks to everyone behind this master piece...
I know my boys i know that the scene is a masterpiece and it can ofc level up and compare to the sincerity if any drama not only BL .. but i specified mentioning BL because not all BL actors can be this comfortable around each other to deliver this kind of sincerity.. otherwise in my humble opinion I see it is easy to be achieved for the normal dramas or the straight couples..because also in my humble opinion it is not very common to be this comfortable and brave for two guy actors to show this type of deep passion to each other the way these tow did that's why i compared it to BL more but it definitely levels up for more🌹

To be honest, the reason I so very much appreciate this scene is because I knew for sure what the characters feel for each other. Kuea's face as well: after that shaky yes when Lian asks if he knows what they are doing, his face shows determination, curiosity, awe, need and trust. He gives himself fully to Lian, he DECIDES to do so, and he owns it, and it's beautiful. And huge kudos for New as well, especially that he is a young actor. He made me fully feel what Kuea felt, and it was very touching.

The couch scene was the highlight of this part of the ep for me. They are communicating. They are speaking their mind to each other finally. No one assuming each other's feeling, no more over thinking, they are asking and answering each other face to face. Communication problem was the main problem in their relationship and now slowly they are trying to fix it. The entire show is actually about the development in their relationship, learning and teaching about each other and understanding how the other person feels. This series is really great if you understand the concept, you can see that it's more than just a light hearted rom-com
Also, i want to point out one very small but very sweet gesture, when Hia lian brought kuea in room he was so gentle with him like many other bls i thought he'll throw him on bed to portray the sexual and dominant side but the way he gently placed him and maintained the eye contact was so so beautiful. My heart was filled with love.
Also he places his head under kuea before turning him over so as not to hurt him.This is a classic love scene between 2 people .Only difference is both the leads are of the same gender.Otherwise it's like a scene from a straight love story between a male and female with lots of passionate lip kisses, then driving to neck, the noise of fast breaths, whispered confessions, lifting up, allow the softer one on top , then proceeding to bedroom etc...

This is literally one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a Thai BL. Everything is so respectful and there’s communication and consent to everything. It’s so beautiful and it’s just seeing that relationship grow and bloom amazingly. Not only is it just oh look they’re having sex but it’s more of them forming a connection and building that trust. And not to mention the actors are wonderful I could really feel the emotions and hard work they put into this. Cutie pie definitely deserves a 10/10 and all the actors deserve recognition.
The whole staff should get recognition for this scene. The actors are the face of this scene, but the writers, director, set designers, editor, cameramen, sound crew, etc. should be applauded for this scene. This scene is what the rest of the industry should emulate. It’s just so well done. Other BL’s often create scenes that feed fans’, let’s be honest, voyeuristic tendencies, but this scene doesn’t make it feel like we’re peeping Toms. It felt more like sharing in their love, rather then watching them from a corner in the room. That’s really the best way I can explain it.
I like the fact that they talked about everything before going down. Communication is key in a good/ growing relationship. And I also liked the fact that hia made sure nu kuean was not drunk. And he was making decisions on a sober ground. Ps: the love making scene is so beautiful.

I think I had the same struggle and now I have the words: I feel honored. Because I could see such a beautiful, honest and emotional love making scene. Because of being grsnted with magnificent acting, in a genre where let's be honest, acting skills are sometimes underrated compared to looks. But these two did it for us. They gave their all, and I simply feel honored, because I think this scene and show is a milestone in the filmmaking history, but somewhat for Thailand as well.

I have to comment again. The way that Hia Lian asks for his consent multiple times is SO GOOD. And I loved how they talked on the couch and actually communicated. It shows the contrast between them and Hia Yi not saying anything to Kon Diao. I just love everything about this, the acting, writing, directing. Everything is beautiful and so well thought out. Even the scenes between Tutor and Yim are filled with meaningful gazes and subtext. I cannot stress how GOOD this series is. ❤️❤️❤️
Consent is a turn on and pushed Lian up the list of nicest semes. Right now, he is duelling against Mork Suttaya [in my head] because even though I like Mork, he was the grabbiest seme and Lian ruined the first kiss by kissing Kuea when the uke was drunk. There was no consent. I wish the kitchen kiss was the first kiss. This sex scene is the gold standard. So Mork and Lian are equals except for the property seizure. That is iffy but without that, they are the two nicest [in my humble opinion]. Funny thing is that they are both still flawed.
Other writers take note, This is how you start an episode and Lian asking him for permission and telling him Kuea to tell him if he's uncomfortable is the way it should be done. This is how you do a MATURE BL.

Everything in this part is perfect. The way they keep kissing after leaving Pentagon. The way Lian carries Kuea. The moment Lian’s kissing unblocked Kuea’s memories at Gemini. They way they talk and communicate to express their feelings and resolve the misunderstanding. The way Lian asks Kuea if he was sober and does he know what they’re doing. The moment they confessed to each other. The OST with Zee’s voice starts when they kiss as if that’s exactly what Lian wants to say to Kuea. And nothing to talk about the bed scene except for I have to control myself and my voice not to wake my parents up OMG Lian even asked if Kuea is not okay, tell him immediately. Why so sweet, so gentle, so emotional. How he appreciates and love Kuea. I even rewatch ep 1-7 the whole week every single day to wait for ep 8. Now I continue rewatch ep 1-8 to wait for ep 9 but now I think I will mainly repeat ep 8 more haha

EVERYTHING about this NC scene was so perfect that I don't even feel the need to talk about it. Let's start by the obvious, (but unfortunately doesn't happen very often) CONSENT. The fact that they added Hia Lian confirming if Kuea was actually ok with everything made me love the crew behind the scenes even more! Also, what I said on the last episode, the ROMANCE. Above all the excitement this was ROMANTIC, and I miss this kind of NC scenes so much in BLs, so thank you Cutie Pie for this! Last but definitely no least, Zee and Nu'New's chemestry is amazing, it felt so real, so natural, all the feelings properly expressed without a single word, that is great acting right there, and want to praise then as well for adding the tongues during the kisses, that made everything even better and even more realistic, and it's also a really bold move for any actor. RESPECT. I'm just really happy with this whole series. That's all.

This is a masterpiece. I am sure everyone revisits this part purely out of admiration for the actors' work. The grasp they had of their character. The scene was more along the lines of comfort, expression and emotional connection. It didn't scream desire to me. It screamed LOVE to me. And to make the viewers feel the warm fuzzy love......clearly the work of talent of both who were on scene and behind the scene. This marks an era of new form of intimacy for BLs and fanfics.
OKAY this was the healthiest BL Drama that I've seen so far. The actors above and beyond amazing but the writers knew what they were doing when writing this script. This teaches people about consent and healthy sober sexual boundaries. LOVE THIS.

The way Lian asked Kuea's consent at every step - from making sure he ain't drunk so as it doesn't become a forced make out to asking him to stop immediately if he feels uncomfortable ㅠ_ㅠ ❤️❣️ and the whole scene wasn't forced or just wild sexual desire rather each and every touch and kiss was gentle, they felt each other's emotion through Evey breath of theirs and the bg music too ❣️❣️ the whole atmosphere was filled with mutual love and happiness-- how they stop in between to stare into each other's eyes, to adore each other's face and bodies, and that part where Lian softly whispers "Nu Kuea" ❤️❤️❤️and the slow rate at which it procceed just made the whole scene more magical ❤️❤️❤️

I appreciate this series for the important details everyone has already mentioned in the comments. But one thing i would love to add to this is how Lian observes and gazes at Kuens body and eyes with much desire and plain love, its so beautiful to watch! another thing that REALLY made me want to twist my neck from excitement is how Lian talks (whispers?) to Kuen in 12:55 and 13:00, as if he is saying something to him as he looks deeply in to his eyes. I almost died. Honestly, this is what making love is all about, and the portrayal of it is just *chefs kiss* !

To tell you honestly, this is the first bed scene in the bl series that I watched where the background music is not sexy but rather sweet and comforting. It’s so weird because when she sang *”I feel your love”*, I actually felt that. Nothing more, just pure amazement with everyone behind this series.

Also please note, next weekend is Songkran, one of the most important holidays in Thailand so many shows will not air, including Cutie Pie. Cutie Pie's next episode will air on saturday in 2 weeks (22th April). However, Zee will take Nunew to his hometown in Chiangrai on Songkran and they'll meet Zee's family there, they'll probably film/show a little bit of their holidays there :)

Can we talk about how Lian: put Kuea on top, stopped for the first sign, talked despite of excitement, confessed repeatedly, admitted fault, restarted gently, made sure Kuea knows what is happening, waited to move on till he was comfortable again, told him to say if anything is wrong, gave Kuea time to get used to new feelings... Respected him in every possible way. And how Kuea opened up, offering his heart on a plate... This is how people in love make love. The direction of the love making scene is pitch perfectly reflect this respect as well: just enough visuals to understand where we are, but leaving the most to the imagination, so everyone can live this sensual feeling on their own. This is a whole new level of interpretation of love between boys / men, and I cannot thank the creators enough.

To be honest, the reason I so very much appreciate this scene is because I knew for sure what the characters feel for each other. Kuea's face as well: after that shaky yes when Lian asks if he knows what they are doing, his face shows determination, curiosity, awe, need and trust. He gives himself fully to Lian, he DECIDES to do so, and he owns it, and it's beautiful. And huge kudos for New as well, especially that he is a young actor. He made me fully feel what Kuea felt, and it was very touching.

The couch scene was the highlight of this part of the ep for me. They are communicating. They are speaking their mind to each other finally. No one assuming each other's feeling, no more over thinking, they are asking and answering each other face to face. Communication problem was the main problem in their relationship and now slowly they are trying to fix it. The entire show is actually about the development in their relationship, learning and teaching about each other and understanding how the other person feels. This series is really great if you understand the concept, you can see that it's more than just a light hearted rom-com

This is literally one of the best scenes I’ve seen in a Thai BL. Everything is so respectful and there’s communication and consent to everything. It’s so beautiful and it’s just seeing that relationship grow and bloom amazingly. Not only is it just oh look they’re having sex but it’s more of them forming a connection and building that trust. And not to mention the actors are wonderful I could really feel the emotions and hard work they put into this. Cutie pie definitely deserves a 10/10 and all the actors deserve recognition.

The whole staff should get recognition for this scene. The actors are the face of this scene, but the writers, director, set designers, editor, cameramen, sound crew, etc. should be applauded for this scene. This scene is what the rest of the industry should emulate. It’s just so well done. Other BL’s often create scenes that feed fans’, let’s be honest, voyeuristic tendencies, but this scene doesn’t make it feel like we’re peeping Toms. It felt more like sharing in their love, rather then watching them from a corner in the room. That’s really the best way I can explain it.

I have to comment again. The way that Hia Lian asks for his consent multiple times is SO GOOD. And I loved how they talked on the couch and actually communicated. It shows the contrast between them and Hia Yi not saying anything to Kon Diao. I just love everything about this, the acting, writing, directing. Everything is beautiful and so well thought out. Consent is a turn on and pushed Lian up the list of nicest semes. Right now, he is duelling against Mork Suttaya [in my head] because even though I like Mork, he was the grabbiest seme and Lian ruined the first kiss by kissing Kuea when the uke was drunk. There was no consent. I wish the kitchen kiss was the first kiss. This sex scene is the gold standard. So Mork and Lian are equals except for the property seizure. That is iffy but without that, they are the two nicest [in my humble opinion]. Funny thing is that they are both still flawed.

The moment they confessed to each other. The OST with Zee’s voice starts when they kiss as if that’s exactly what Lian wants to say to Kuea. And nothing to talk about the bed scene except for I have to control myself and my voice not to wake my parents up OMG Lian even asked if Kuea is not okay, tell him immediately. Why so sweet, so gentle, so emotional. How he appreciates and love Kuea. I even rewatch ep 1-7 the whole week every single day to wait for ep 8. Now I continue rewatch ep 1-8 to wait for ep 9 but now I think I will mainly repeat ep 8 more haha

The fact that they added Hia Lian confirming if Kuea was actually ok with everything made me love the crew behind the scenes even more! Also, what I said on the last episode, the ROMANCE. Above all the excitement this was ROMANTIC, and I miss this kind of NC scenes so much in BLs, so thank you Cutie Pie for this! Last but definitely no least, Zee and Nu'New's chemestry is amazing, it felt so real, so natural, all the feelings properly expressed without a single word, that is great acting right there, and want to praise then as well for adding the tongues during the kisses, that made everything even better and even more realistic, and it's also a really bold move for any actor. i agree 100%, this is the first time i really enjoy all of the scenes without skipping. All of it feels natural, comfortable, and you can feel the chemistry. After this, my standard for a series will be so high:')

The best love scene ever in bl world for me. The display of emotions are on point. Its so natural. It is full of love and wanting for eo. Cutie pie is on another level when it comes to love scenes.
And one might not think that this is the 1st acting role of Nunew. He did an amazing job esp. on NCs. Good thing he has zee to guide him always. He is a natural born star. Kudos to him and to zee. More projects/series to come for ZNN.
