If you are using kami or regular paper (not foil paper), to make it extra clean looking, I recommend using the wetfolding approach if you have the time, and want a really good-looking final model. Wet-folding in this case doesn't mean folding when the paper is damp. It just means when you are finished folding the model, apply paper clips or other types of clamps so the model will hold its shape even when you submerge it in water. When it has been paperclipped all over, dunk it in water long enough for the water to seep into the whole model. Then set the model in some warm place to dry. Before removing the clips, it's important to let it fully dry, which can take several days depending on how warm the drying space is. When you remove the clips, the folds will remain compressed, and it should look cleaner and even more amazing than before.
This model was inspired by my rather unsuccessful attempt at recreating on the spot during a livestream a treble clef that I had designed 30 years ago from a Pleatsunk Blintzed Fish Base. The request at the March 2024 Eastern Hemisphere Members Livestream was to fold something musical, and I decided to try to recreate from memory the treble clef model from 30 years ago, and I managed to recreate it, but frankly, it looked very messy and bad, as you can see in the video. After the livestream, I sifted through my boxes and boxes of old models looking for the original one but I couldn't find it, so I sat down and tried to design a new treble clef using a totally different base and lo and behold, it came out much nicer-looking and easier-to-fold than the original! I hope you love this new model as much as I do!

Good idea! If you are using paper, I think using the wet-folding approach would be good, as I mentioned in the video.

Yes, I'm sure it does, even though I haven't tried it.
