Pako Pako by Tomoko Fuse - AMAZING Transforming Origami!

This model requires printing and cutting out a template and forming it into a tube using either tape or glue. I have a free rainbow template here in Letter or A4 size:

TIP: The glue method is easier, but I included the tape method as well in case you have tape but not glue at home AND becaues if you use the laminating method the taping into a tube becomes much easier because you can pull the tape off the tape without tearing the paper. Bonus with laminating method is that the model will last 10 times as long!

Sorry if I'm being tacky, but do you have something against rainbows??? Hmm... Perhaps I should have just stuck with red. Or is it that sticky gooshy muculent texture that really boogs you? Speaking of that...do you ever blow your nose and look at the tissue to see if it's clumpy and conclude that it'snot?🤣 Sorry for my tasteless humor but how do you really know it's tasteless until you've tried it??? p.s. It's spelled booger... I thick it's goo'd to phlegmiliarize yourself with dispelling of that which disgusts you in order to make rheum to discharge any disputum you might secretely have with your favorite origumist.

try to fold this using pure origami. that will be an interesting challenge!
It would be really easy to think of but harder to make because it would need a nasty lock, also thin, strong paper.
JellyMotion Origami thin strong paper is just kami.
I've done it, but you end up with a seam going up the side and the seam easily opens. You could try doing a glueless latching lock like how I taught the magic ball but then the seam would be even thicker and more cumbersome and it's just not aesthetic to break up the edges like that. Ya, I know, tape and cutting isn't aesthetic either, but in this case I agree it's preferable to do rather than sticking to pure origami. Instead of a square this model is from a tube shape.
I tried doing it without printer or glue but I still failed. Jeremy shafer Can you teach without printer paper templates or glue. That would really help.
