Funny that you said bts doesn’t do story telling. There’s a deeper meaning or message in 98% of their songs. Even this one had a message, but you didn’t pay attention to the lyrics. If you want story telling, give their “I need you” full version a reaction. Please note the lyrics says “I need you GIRL”, but the song is not about a romantic relationship. It’s about how people go thru their own struggles in life. It’s part of the bts fiction that runs through their songs, albums, and other mediums

@@Mybabyjk I disagree, depending on taste. For jazz lovers and old souls - V, for rap fans - RM or Suga, for dancers - J-Hope or Jimin, for belted ballads - Jin. Jungkook is the main vocalist and has benefited by being the youngest of 6 phenomenal older brothers. His album appeals to western pop audiences and I am so proud of him, but I prefer the lyricism of RM or the gut wrenching emotion of Suga, who had a sold out tour alone before he went in the service. And JK has written some of the most hauntingly beautiful songs, but he didn't write any of the songs on his Golden Album. Each member has the talent and charisma to go out on his own, but they prefer to stay together as a group and do solo stuff on the side.

BTS is extremely diverse. they have songs in every single genre u can think of. edm, rap, hip hop, pop, ballad, rnb, indie, etc. they’re insanely talented and that’s one of the main reasons why they’ve been the biggest group in the world for so long. you guys have mainly seen them in their professional setting, performing and whatnot. i hope that down the road, you guys react to some funny videos and other videos of them just hanging out behind the scenes off camera. they’re so serious on stage but so goofy when they’re on their own. another thing to note is that they include their fans in EVERYTHING. there’s hardly a moment that they don’t share with us. regardless of what they’re doing, they always manage to go live and stream. for example, jungkook used to go live and fold his laundry or wash his dishes just bc he missed us. jimin also used to go live when he was about to go to sleep. namjoon went live when he was recording music. jin went live when he was eating dinner. so as you see, they have a very strong and close bond with us. they make us a part of their daily routines even tho they don’t have to. keep in mind, these lives have between 6-15 million people watching 😂. that’s another reason they have such a big fan base; there’s no other artist out there that loves their fans as much as BTS does. nobody can convince me otherwise.
Just in case no one has said it before, Yes! Jungkook does have solo songs and solo music but NO he didn't "Break out" of BTS or "Go Solo". EVERY single member of BTS has solo songs, and EVERY single member of BTS has been releasing solo music since like 2015 so this isn't something new. One Thing about Kpop that is different from American/Western Groups is that while members are still in the group, it's VERY common for members to release solo music, covers or do collabs with other artists. It doesn't mean they're leaving/left the group it just means that they are releasing some of their own music. One piece of Advise that I give you guys is forget absolutely EVERYTHING you know about Western Groups/American Boy Bands because chances are 99% of the information that you know don't apply to BTS. You'll find out soon enough why BTS are as big as they are, and why they have such a loyal and gigantic fanbase. They aren't like any other boy band you've seen before. Exactly, this is one of the things that I really love about kpop, is that individual members often have their own solo careers, whilst still being a part of a group.
- BTS are still a group nobody has gone solo. Each member has released solo projects and they've always released solo songs for the members but they're still together and they have no plans of disbanding anytime soon. In fact they want to stay together for as long as possible. - The main/lead dancers are J-hope and Jimin, but Jungkook and V are incredible dancers and are part of the dance line as well. - Funny you mention storytelling because BTS are actually some of the best storytellers ever and they probably have the best storyline in k-pop. Since debut they've always talked about crucial and unusual topics in k-pop like mental health, self love, and societal expectations from youth. They've also based albums off of psychological books and theories. Their lyrics are so smart and high level with lots of cultural, philosophical, and psychological references that you'd have to watch explanation videos to many of their songs to understand them. Their lyrics are also displayed in a museum and taught in schools around the world as well as RM's UN speech. Even if you or army don't subscribe to these titles/positions, they are very much still in use in the K-pop industry. Also, army not caring about them does not erase them, reality is everyone was employed under a position, and if we are going to outline them one by one, correct information should be shared appropriately.

He's out now (discharged on June 12), and he has already said he's working on new music. In fact, since June 12, Jin has done a fan meeting with a concert for 4000 ARMY and a "hug-a-thon" where he hugged 1000 ARMY - this was the DAY AFTER he was discharged). He has already filmed a variety show on a deserted island, begun recording his music, and it was just announced that he will soon be heading to France to be one of the torchbearers for the Paris Olympics. lol, they all have solo albums.. some more than one album and also the rapline have multiple 'mixtapes'/albums 💜 They are still together, debuted in 2013, no one has ever split from the group, etc.. they are on a short break/hiatus that also includes military enlistment. During the break/hiatus (chapter 2 of BTS) they each have worked on full solo albums. (RM & Jimin 2 albums as far as we know for now) and also things including documentaries, shows, and Suga did a concert tour (with his solo work), for ARMYs. Some hiatus works have been/are being released during their military enlistment. Even before the military enlistment they all had solo work/songs and incorporated them into their group albums and also live concerts. (ie: during a BTS concert, members would perform solo songs). Now that one member is back, Jin, has said he's working on solo stuff (because he only had time to release one song while on break before enlisting) and as of now it's been announced he's doing other things like a show also a torchbearer for the summer Olympics for SK. The next member, J-Hope, will be out of the military this October and Suga, RM, Jimin, V, Jk will return next June. We have no idea what's dropping for the remaining hiatus, BUT we as a fandom have been blessed with so much month after month and just today, they announced part 2 of RM & Jimin's album exchange and JK: I Am Still coming to cinemas.
Jungkook did not come out as solo he is still very much apart of the group, he just made his own album and separate songs aside from BTS. All of the members have made either their own songs or albums or both, that doesn’t mean either one of them are solo.

BTS does have a storyline that runs troughout most of their music videos, making them have some kind of connection. In fact, BTS has stabilished what we call the B.U. I've seen this song performed live in a stadium three times now, and it's amazing in a stadium. The Lab and Sienna are their back up dancers when they are in the USA touring and performing. She's choreographed a number of their songs now. They also performed this live at Central station. This song has a story music video. and they have a storyline that runs through their albums, AND BTS are amazing lyricists and storytellers. Their dancing sets the standard for K-Pop. You won't see anyone else do it better than BTS. AND they are Global Superstars with a very diverse fanbase of over 350 million and growing.

Yes they have all released solo albums as part of their prep for the mandatory military service. They have been releasing projects that they prepared for us before going in during this time. We just got Jin back, J Hope comes out in October, and the rest in June 2025. RM just released his 2nd solo album last month, Jin will probably be releasing one soon. They are still BTS and together, they just can't be together currently because of military rules about making videos, they can show photos once in awhile but not much else. Please explore all their albums and projects because there is so much there. Suga aka Agust D did a solo concert tour in 2023 that started in the USA and continued though Asia called D Day, and J Hope did Lollapalooza. Every time I buy another album I do my research and check the overall price eg cost of album plus cost of delivery. I Always end up ordering via Amazon UK in the end as it's always cheaper. Research is the key means I save money to spend on more BTS albums.
If you will pay attention to the lyrics, BTS' lyrics have deeper meanings. They value meaningful lyrics, passion, story telling that can also be seen visually.

A few notes. It actually took them 2 days to film the MV. So the production cost even more. And what you don't know...most all of their MV's also have separate Behind the Scenes videos to watch. They are lits of fun to watch. To film this "the boys" had to do many takes. Many shots over and over. So what BTS has to do is dance "Full Out" for each take. They have to dance like it's the first time they're doing it. Their outfits were leather. Very hot to wear. And then the weather was hot. So what you don't see...is seeing them sweat. They have to have all the sweat blotted off. And redos on hair and makeup. It takes a long time to film a MV. So what you maybe don't know is that dancers are among the most fit athletes in the world! Also, a question was asked. "Is he the dancer?" They are all dancers. Jimin and JHope are the only ones with dance experience. When they started out they were identified as having 3 rappers and 4 vocal line. Jungkook was never labeled as just a dancer, but as a lead singer on the vocal line. But as they all got more experienced they all can do it all. You have no idea ! 10 years of BTS content to watch. And 1 year of them all doing solo work! Also, someone said ai didn't recognize JHope. You can never identify them by their hair color or hair style. It changes so very much!! But you will learn to just look at their faces and identify them that way. Or the sound of their voice. We can tell you are having fun discovering BTS's talent. It is a complex storyline and each member has a character development based on their webtoon and is portrayed in multiple albums, videos, short stories, book, video games. It was so well developed that this year they released it on small screen as a TV series but they hired fresh new Actors to play the characters.

Everyone is going to recommend Tylor’s BTS intro but if you want a more informative intro check out one by Rice Squad, and a docuseries called The Rise Of Bangtan. BTS isn’t comparable to Big Bang. In many ways, they are more like Epik High.

Jungkook is the main vocalist and has benefited by being the youngest of 6 phenomenal older brothers. His album appeals to western pop audiences and I am so proud of him, but I prefer the lyricism of RM or the gut wrenching emotion of Suga, who had a sold out tour alone before he went in the service. And JK has written some of the most hauntingly beautiful songs, but he didn't write any of the songs on his Golden Album. Each member has the talent and charisma to go out on his own, but they prefer to stay together as a group and do solo stuff on the side.

BTS is extremely diverse. they have songs in every single genre u can think of. edm, rap, hip hop, pop, ballad, rnb, indie, etc. they’re insanely talented and that’s one of the main reasons why they’ve been the biggest group in the world for so long. you guys have mainly seen them in their professional setting, performing and whatnot. i hope that down the road, you guys react to some funny videos and other videos of them just hanging out behind the scenes off camera. they’re so serious on stage but so goofy when they’re on their own. another thing to note is that they include their fans in EVERYTHING. there’s hardly a moment that they don’t share with us. regardless of what they’re doing, they always manage to go live and stream. for example, jungkook used to go live and fold his laundry or wash his dishes just bc he missed us. jimin also used to go live when he was about to go to sleep. namjoon went live when he was recording music. jin went live when he was eating dinner. so as you see, they have a very strong and close bond with us. they make us a part of their daily routines even tho they don’t have to. keep in mind, these lives have between 6-15 million people watching 😂. that’s another reason they have such a big fan base; there’s no other artist out there that loves their fans as much as BTS does. nobody can convince me otherwise.

Just in case no one has said it before, Yes! Jungkook does have solo songs and solo music but NO he didn't "Break out" of BTS or "Go Solo". EVERY single member of BTS has solo songs, and EVERY single member of BTS has been releasing solo music since like 2015 so this isn't something new. One Thing about Kpop that is different from American/Western Groups is that while members are still in the group, it's VERY common for members to release solo music, covers or do collabs with other artists. It doesn't mean they're leaving/left the group it just means that they are releasing some of their own music. One piece of Advise that I give you guys is forget absolutely EVERYTHING you know about Western Groups/American Boy Bands because chances are 99% of the information that you know don't apply to BTS. You'll find out soon enough why BTS are as big as they are, and why they have such a loyal and gigantic fanbase. They aren't like any other boy band you've seen before.

- BTS are still a group nobody has gone solo. Each member has released solo projects and they've always released solo songs for the members but they're still together and they have no plans of disbanding anytime soon. In fact they want to stay together for as long as possible.
- The main/lead dancers are J-hope and Jimin, but Jungkook and V are incredible dancers and are part of the dance line as well.
- Funny you mention storytelling because BTS are actually some of the best storytellers ever and they probably have the best storyline in k-pop. Since debut they've always talked about crucial and unusual topics in k-pop like mental health, self love, and societal expectations from youth. They've also based albums off of psychological books and theories. Their lyrics are so smart and high level with lots of cultural, philosophical, and psychological references that you'd have to watch explanation videos to many of their songs to understand them. Their lyrics are also displayed in a museum and taught in schools around the world as well as RM's UN speech.

All the members have solo songs and most of them have at least one solo album.
Right. 6 out of 7 do, and the only reason the 7th (Jin) doesn't have a full album is because he's the eldest and ran out of time before having to join the military. He's out now (discharged on June 12), and he has already said he's working on new music. In fact, since June 12, Jin has done a fan meeting with a concert for 4000 ARMY and a "hug-a-thon" where he hugged 1000 ARMY - this was the DAY AFTER he was discharged). He has already filmed a variety show on a deserted island, begun recording his music, and it was just announced that he will soon be heading to France to be one of the torchbearers for the Paris Olympics. The man is BOOKED AND BUSY!!

It's the reason they are just de throned MJ as the most award Artists in the History of music. That happened on Friday I think it was there was a big announcement in USA music industry the cited BTS with 1,400 music awards. They also have 5 Grammy nominations and 31 Guinness World Records.
lol, they all have solo albums.. some more than one album and also the rapline have multiple 'mixtapes'/albums 💜 They are still together, debuted in 2013, no one has ever split from the group, etc.. they are on a short break/hiatus that also includes military enlistment. During the break/hiatus (chapter 2 of BTS) they each have worked on full solo albums. (RM & Jimin 2 albums as far as we know for now) and also things including documentaries, shows, and Suga did a concert tour (with his solo work), for ARMYs. Some hiatus works have been/are being released during their military enlistment. Even before the military enlistment they all had solo work/songs and incorporated them into their group albums and also live concerts. (ie: during a BTS concert, members would perform solo songs). Now that one member is back, Jin, has said he's working on solo stuff (because he only had time to release one song while on break before enlisting) and as of now it's been announced he's doing other things like a show also a torchbearer for the summer Olympics for SK. The next member, J-Hope, will be out of the military this October and Suga, RM, Jimin, V, Jk will return next June. We have no idea what's dropping for the remaining hiatus, BUT we as a fandom have been blessed with so much month after month and just today, they announced part 2 of RM & Jimin's album exchange and JK: I Am Still coming to cinemas.

This was a performance MV there is another storyboard driven MV for this song too. I recommend you to watch either Not Today, Blood Sweat & Tears, or I Need You (Original 5:33m version). I've seen this song performed live in a stadium three times now, and it's amazing in a stadium. The Lab and Sienna are their back up dancers when they are in the USA touring and performing. She's choreographed a number of their songs now. They also performed this live at Central station. This song has a story music video. and they have a storyline that runs through their albums, AND BTS are amazing lyricists and storytellers. Their dancing sets the standard for K-Pop. You won't see anyone else do it better than BTS. AND they are Global Superstars with a very diverse fanbase of over 350 million and growing.

Yes they have all released solo albums as part of their prep for the mandatory military service. They have been releasing projects that they prepared for us before going in during this time. We just got Jin back, J Hope comes out in October, and the rest in June 2025. RM just released his 2nd solo album last month, Jin will probably be releasing one soon. They are still BTS and together, they just can't be together currently because of military rules about making videos, they can show photos once in awhile but not much else. Please explore all their albums and projects because there is so much there. Suga aka Agust D did a solo concert tour in 2023 that started in the USA and continued though Asia called D Day, and J Hope did Lollapalooza. My delivery is expect 5th of August however it'll arrive before then, as every time I order straight from South Korea the albums always arrive anything from 7-10days before expect date of delivery.

@@cdholmes3337 I was shocked I'm in the UK and it's always cheaper for me to order via Amazon UK straight to South Korea then order from HMV here in the UK.
Every time I buy another album I do my research and check the overall price eg cost of album plus cost of delivery. I Always end up ordering via Amazon UK in the end as it's always cheaper. Research is the key means I save money to spend on more BTS albums.

A few notes. It actually took them 2 days to film the MV. So the production cost even more. And what you don't know...most all of their MV's also have separate Behind the Scenes videos to watch. They are lits of fun to watch. To film this "the boys" had to do many takes. Many shots over and over. So what BTS has to do is dance "Full Out" for each take. They have to dance like it's the first time they're doing it. Their outfits were leather. Very hot to wear. And then the weather was hot. So what you don't see...is seeing them sweat. They have to have all the sweat blotted off. And redos on hair and makeup. It takes a long time to film a MV. So what you maybe don't know is that dancers are among the most fit athletes in the world! Also, a question was asked. "Is he the dancer?" They are all dancers. Jimin and JHope are the only ones with dance experience. When they started out they were identified as having 3 rappers and 4 vocal line. Jungkook was never labeled as just a dancer, but as a lead singer on the vocal line. But as they all got more experienced they all can do it all. You have no idea ! 10 years of BTS content to watch. And 1 year of them all doing solo work! Also, someone said ai didn't recognize JHope. You can never identify them by their hair color or hair style. It changes so very much!! But you will learn to just look at their faces and identify them that way. Or the sound of their voice. We can tell you are having fun discovering BTS's talent. But the most amazing thing about them is they are very nice human beings. Very humble. No egos involved. Caring and loving and compassionate and so much more! So enjoy your journey. A fun trivia note. Jin was recently released from the military. They went in at staggered times. Anyway, he had veen chosen as one of the Olympic Torch Bearers. Way cool. Jimin just dropped a new single from his new album "Muse" Soon to he released. In August on Disney Plus, JK and Jimin will have an outdoor travel show. And they've all already released do much content for us with more to come! Enjoy!

10:32 BTS has a storyline over multiple albums. When you get further along you may what to dive into the BU(BTS Universe). It is a complex storyline and each member has a character development based on their webtoon and is portrayed in multiple albums, videos, short stories, book, video games. It was so well developed that this year they released it on small screen as a TV series but they hired fresh new Actors to play the characters.

Everyone is going to recommend Tylor’s BTS intro but if you want a more informative intro check out one by Rice Squad, and a docuseries called The Rise Of Bangtan.
BTS isn’t comparable to Big Bang. In many ways, they are more like Epik High.
Kinetic means movement, a manifesto is, hard to explain, what artist used to do when they created all those different styles of painting. So this mv was about that movement, the choreography of the cameras and the people inside that space. JK came out solo... After several others, all of them have solo projects, solo abums😉
