One of many great memories of the late 1990's is playing N64 and Starcraft with my college classmates. I'd get super motion sickness after Goldeneye and had no idea what was happening at first. :-)
Just saw the reddit post then found this video, this is awesome! Haha. And damn, those old laptops are beasts lol. Probably expensive as hell back then.
It's really cool that theiy're playing Starcraft!. Also. as a dedicated Starcraft player, hurts to see them: a) place laptops on bed sheets, b) use mice with the thumb track ball, and c) not use their keyboard for hotkey macros 🤣🤣
There’s photos of them after they win this series on the plane playing Starcraft with the Larry Obrien sitting in between them. They had LAN cables all over a plane in 1999 they were super serious.
Hilarious, David used "Admiral" as his name on the game. Admiral: yeah baby
Duncan looked hella locked in lmao
Why does this video fill me with so much joy?
It’s cool that we got to see the Spurs nerdy side. Cuz when you think nba players you don’t think they would be having lan party’s in their off time
Probably forbidden from going out during resting periods of a playoff series.
How is this just now being unearthed?!? So sick.
Nah it's been around
this video shows up on social media like every 6 months lol
this just proves no matter the game or technology its about chilling with the boys and destroying the enemies lol
There were no smart phones do this is a great vibes. Magazines, video games, snacks, music,
"why don't you build some more stuff Tim? you've got plenty of money, build some more tanks and goliaths"
some things never change

Wow. Respect. That's definitely one of the things I was doing back then.
Using books and other things as mouse pads. Classic days.

Shit bro it is, thinkpad at their top of the game
Something is trippy about 90's basketball players...🤔🤔🤔
90s n 2000s was the last real generation
90s is just the time of the millenials being born or growing up as young kids. So anything from that time will seem nostalgic or trippy
@@dopeanimemind7049It's more than that man... Take some psychedelics and come back to me
Seeing Robinson say “yeah baby” in all lower case is so odd to me
Good song choice, to who ever originally made this video.

+ playing on low speed.
This was probably how 90% of people played games back in the day. Like how almost everyone in 2005 WoW was a clicker
This is so sick haha
fav vid
I get the vibe Tim started playing when it came out and got the rest of the team into it a year later
No, it was Sean that got everyone into it. He was always a big gamer.
Imagine if they used both hands when playing this game... like all 4 of them are just clicking no hot keys
I wonder if they've ever expanded to another base ever lol
Liquid Tension experiment 00:17
What track/song? Missing the keyboards though.
Badass
I'd destroy them at starcraft
Good to know, Liberalfitness9068
Theyre not realllly playing. They are just trying it once for the sake of a goofy video.
They play sc. You can tell by the way they talk about the game.
Duncan is a gamer
there's an article out there about how these four would play as much as they could during the 1999 season
@@swantonist And it was probably the best thing they did, because they won the chip that year too
