Also, Steve McQueen is a tough guy to interview and I thought Jake did a great job.
I so loved steve McQueen’s answer about making the tv show. I realized I was a screenwriter when I was in school and asked to write a 4 page paper and went ‘why? You can say it in two’. My scripts are less than 90 pages. I just CANNOT drag it out the way some movies do.
Viola and Cynthia are Queens- amazing talent, beautiful and incredible physiques.
Can see why Jake is an emmy winner. Love his interview style and intelligent questions.
wow... Steve McQueen is the only person I've seen Jake interview who didn't get "stumped" by such good questions...

The original was followed by two sequels, Widows 2 and later She's Out which shows Dolly pulling a big train robbery after she is released from prison. I hiope that this is not a one off Widows movie since originally there were three tv miniseries and three books penned by Lynda LaPlante

Great interviews... but at the end of the final interview with Gillian Flynn... did you see her face when Jake said *Thanks...* and got up and walked away! Watch her face.. it seems really odd to end the interview that way... with the interviewer getting up and walking away🤔🙄
It’s a press junket so there’s a time limit for each interviewer. The assistants from the studio may have been giving him the “wrap it up “ sign on the other end of the camera.

Wow, I knew it was bad in Hollywood for black actors but I didn't know it was that bad.
McQueen sadly didn’t seem to care for the questions, which I thought were brilliant.
I don't think he "didn't care for the questions", I just think he's an artist and artists are so cerebral and mercurial. I'm pretty sure it was neither the questions nor the interviewer.
