Now, if you put the transmission in S mode, the transmission will run normally until you pull a paddle shifter. You are now in manual shifting mode. The car will not shift up for you. Keep holding the traction control button until the screen says Traction Control Off. Have fun.
When you get a chance, try this. Drive down highway at about 55mph. Pull the -paddle(left) and hold. It will shift down 2-3 gears, as far as safely possible without the need to pull the shifter for each gear.
Hey Jonathan just came across your vid looking forward to changing my exhaust. I'm just thinking of doing a muffler delete which my buddy has done all ready also I'm thinking about straight piping my resonators as well I have a 2015 Chrysler 300c 5.7L any reason you didn't do yours.
Jesse Ames I didn't do mine due to drone. I spoke with others that have done both because they said just the mufflers removed were too quiet, which I can understand. I wish mine was just a little louder. The people I spoke to said that removing the resonators makes it way louder but the drone is really bad. I have had drone in the last few exhaust systems and really don't want to deal with it in this car. The stock resonators do a great job as my car is as quiet as stock when driving down the highway. I have considered finding some scat pack resonators which will make it way louder than what I have and keep the drone away.
Jesse Ames well I can't say for certain with our setup but my buddy has a scat pack challenger with his mid muffler deleted and he has the stock resonators and it doesn't drone. We car pool so I ride in that car on the highway half of the month. And from a sound standpoint, the scat pack is way louder than mine. It it is quiet on the highway. I figure with so many people modifying the scat pack exhaust, it shouldn't be too hard to come across the resonators
Jesse Ames I chose aluminum because I was on the edge of buying a cat back and just wanted to try this out first to see if I liked it. Also where I am located, I feel like the aluminum will hold up well enough
Jonathan Butler Do you think the 3.6 is worth having this done? I’m about to purchase the same model different engine and want it to be as loud as I can make it without it being ridiculous lol. & what did this cost you??
@@GriffinMelton13 Take out both sets if you want it really loud. At the back end of the car there's 2 more resonators/Mufflers that can be taken out. I used to have a 2013 300S with the Hemi and I replaced mid mufflers with the super 44s and took out the back ones completely. Sounded pretty nice.
Chris Fulton no drone. It's actually pretty quiet in the cabin. Only time I even notice that I have the mufflers removed is at low speed through town. I do not have anything else to compare it to on this platform other than a scat Pack Muffler Delete and it is nowhere near as loud. I wanted corsa and figured I'd try this first and I am satisfied
Jonathan Butler awesome thanks I'm going to give this a try first then. I drive an 1hr and a half to and from work and my old car droned like crazy after a while it started to annoy the crap out of me.
Hey man... Hope you can help with this. I have a 5.7. I swapped the mufflers for flowmasters 40s, and they weren't loud enough, so I did a reso delete. It sounds great now, but I get pretty serious drone at 1800 rpms and on highway. So im not sure if i should delete mufflers and put resos back on, or do a whole corsa exhaust system that people say has no drone. I want it to sound good, but not be obnoxiously loud, especially on the highway.
Michael Martin I am not sure how yours sounded with just the mufflers swapped out, but I can tell you that with the stock resonators and a muffler delete it will still be too quiet for a lot of people. It sounds great for what it is, but you may want more sound out of it. I have not heard the corsa system, but I know they make an xtreme version that will be their loudest. If you cannot stand the drone and don’t want to spend a ton of money, then put the stock resonators back on and go with a muffler delete and at least you won’t have to deal with the drone.
@@craxkillz300s8 as you say it shouldn't void the warranty as there are no sensors in that part of the exhaust that would impact the engine's operation like there is in the catalytic converter. But I wouldn't put it past a dealer or manufacturer to argue in the event of a major engine malfunction that removing the muffler caused the failure. Both are unscrupulous...
@@craxkillz300s8 Here is some proof. “The Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act makes it illegal for companies to void your warranty or deny coverage under the warranty simply because you used an aftermarket part.”
It will sound pretty much the same as this one in the video. Both the limited, S and C models are equipped with the 3.6 penta star engine. its just that the S model has some slight improvements to bring the horsepower up from 295 to 300 -__-
Deandre Taylor the only thing done to the car is the mufflers removed and 35% tint. I'm considering going to a 392 charger, but if I keep this car I will be tuning it in the future
Deandre Taylor not sure how it would sound. Every car is different and the resonators on my car are huge and quiet the system down a lot. On my past 2 vehicles, a 2013 mustang gt and a 2014 tundra, the Muffler Delete was much louder than the 300. As a result, both of them had tremendous drone that I didn't want to hear after some time with it. The 300 sounds pretty good with no drone so it is a winner in my book. Your car will depend on the rest of your exhaust. It could be "NASCAR" loud like my mustang was or it could be just right like the 300. I am sure that someone has done it before and has a video online. You could just do like I did and take a chance. If you don't like it, then put the mufflers back on
V6 or V8* I thought only the SRT model was V8 so I just thought i'd ask. "Rocket Science" remark completely unnecessary bud but non the less I appreciate the answer...

I cannot answer with 100% confidence but this should not affect any warranty with the exception of the exhaust system. for example, If something happens to your window motor and it needs replacing, the exhaust had no cause of damage and warranty should not be denied. Any issues with the catback exhaust, and I am sure that you are on your own.
+BartCast that's the "hemi fart". Not sure on specifically why it does it but I think it has to do with cutting fuel between shifts. In the video I was making it do this. It doesn't do it during normal driving. Some hate the farts, but I love it.
I would say yes. It definitely will not affect your computer system on the car. Where I live, emissions only concerns catalytic converters on the exhaust, so removing a muffler wouldn’t be a concern.
Nick M no, not really. I mean the extra sound it makes can make you think it is faster but I really can't tell a difference. I never took it to the track stock, but I plan on running it soon as-is to get a baseline before I get it tuned

Is this a 3.6 or a 5.7?
5.7
V8
Just cut all resonators off there are 2 plus a middle suit case and weld the pipe on and just keep the cats trust me it'll sound way better
No way, too much drone
IS THIS A V8?? I WANNA DO IT TO MINES BUT I WANNA MAKE SURE ITS GONNA SOUND LIKE THIS
Yes this is the 5.7 Hemi v8
Do you get any drone at highway speeds I'm thinking about doing this or getting a magnaflow cat-back
Chris Fulton no drone.
@@jonathanbutler7853 You kept the Resonators on?
I just did the mid muffler delete , replaced it with Flowmaster Super 44s , deleted resonators replaced with 2.50 straight pipe on my 2019 300s 5.7
Rip to your warranty
@@JSavine58 u have no clue what your talking about lol , doesnt void ur warranty dip shit
This is my exact setup i'm about to do. same car, year, engine, deleting resonators and super 44 mufflers. how bad is the drone with this setup?
I don't want mine to be louder, but about a second faster in the quarter mile would be great!
Then don't do a mufflerdelete
i have a regular 300 how do you think it will sound?
Angel Martinez itll sound buzzy.
Angel Martinez not good. I did the same with my 3.5 charger. Waste if $380.00 bucks
RASTA CHEVY 380? bruh you got ripped off! I got the muffler and resonator deleted then a borla muffler added on for 200!
illumination357 so dont do it then?
It will sound pretty much the same as this one in the video. Both the limited, S and C models are equipped with the 3.6 penta star engine. its just that the S model has some slight improvements to bring the horsepower up from 295 to 300 -__-
Is this a V6
I noticed that you are from NC and I am too. What shop did you use?
+Christopher Thompson I just went to a local Muffler shop in dunn, NC to have the work done. Shouldn't be hard for any Muffler shop to do the work
Hey bro i have th 19 300s and i also live in nc does it void your warranty and does any engine lights come on with just the mid muffler delete
How much did that cost bro ? I just got a 14 300s Hemi and I'm tryna get something like this done
+Caleb Oropeza $60. It will cost more if you used stainless steel piping
Is it better for the sound if u use stainless steel pipe ??
This is the v8 right?
5.7 hemi v8
Will this give you a check engine light down the road.
Jim Cole it should not. No sensors past the catalytic converters, so there is nothing that would set the check engine light off
Sounds good bro I'm in NC looking for a 300s also
So this would sound the same for a 300c with the hemi?
Noah Nosko yep just like that💪
Noah Nosko no much louder
@@ipodman536 No, the same. Same engine, same exhaust, same sound.
Yeah but this black one is the V6 3.6lt not the Hemi
Jasiel Borroto Does that sound like a V6 to you????. Just take a second to listen to the car and think about what you said...
Jasiel Borroto v6 doesn't come with spoiler for 2015, only v8.
wrong
Jasil I have a 2015 300 6cly wouldn't cutting out the smog converter make a better difference in performing?
This is a hemi you silly goose
V8 ?? Or V6
V8 hemi
This 8v or 6v and what's name the exust?
It's the V8 Hemi. Just replaced the mufflers with normal pipe. No new name brand exhaust was put in.
What is all u got done
Deandre Taylor the only thing done to the car is the mufflers removed and 35% tint. I'm considering going to a 392 charger, but if I keep this car I will be tuning it in the future
Jonathan Butler i have hyundai genesis sadan 3.8 333 hp u think it would sound good
Deandre Taylor not sure how it would sound. If you don't like it, then put the mufflers back on
Deandre Taylor lmao nvm I found your comments on that video
Winter7 Paintball what video
Bro this car V6 ??
V8 Hemi
VS or V8?
V6 or V8* I thought only the SRT model was V8 so I just thought i'd ask. "Rocket Science" remark completely unnecessary bud but non the less I appreciate the answer...
+EricSean 3hunna 300s is also available with a v6 pentastar (2011 +) or 3.5 sohc (05-10) much like 2011 + 300c can have either a 3.6 pentastar or 5.7 Hemi rocket scientist
I hear this is bad for the engine or computer is that true?
No its not .
Is this just a mid muffler delete. I just had my resonators taken off and it sounds horrible inside.
This is just the mid muffler delete with resonators still in place
V6 right
Hemi
You only suppose to remove mid mufflers
@@ejg34 Its got a Hemi.
So this is a 300s hemi ?
Yes, 2015 300s with the 5.7 HEMI
Will this void the warranty?
I cannot answer with 100% confidence but this should not affect any warranty with the exception of the exhaust system. for example, If something happens to your window motor and it needs replacing, the exhaust had no cause of damage and warranty should not be denied. Any issues with the catback exhaust, and I am sure that you are on your own.
BEST SOUND
Wait is the 300s a v8
No
Theres 2 choices v6 or v8
the only real choice is a hemi
The 5.7 v8 that also comes with the 300S is a Hemi.
Dean M Chrysler C have a 5.7 in it too.
I like the sound of that
Why is it rattling
+BartCast that's the "hemi fart". Not sure on specifically why it does it but I think it has to do with cutting fuel between shifts. In the video I was making it do this. It doesn't do it during normal driving. Some hate the farts, but I love it.
I noticed the original mufflers had a crossover tube. Maybe an "H" or "X" pipe would help.
Will this pass inspection
I would say yes. It definitely will not affect your computer system on the car. Where I live, emissions only concerns catalytic converters on the exhaust, so removing a muffler wouldn’t be a concern.
dang sounds good! still have the mufflers? I would buy 'em if you do!
Jacob Seibert I do still have the mufflers but I am going to keep them to install when I sell the car
Dang:/... wanna trade for my 14 with the v6 lol?
noticed any gains in power?
Nick M no, not really. I mean the extra sound it makes can make you think it is faster but I really can't tell a difference. I never took it to the track stock, but I plan on running it soon as-is to get a baseline before I get it tuned
There’s always gain in power. When you straight pipe or even when you delete a muffler. You’re taking all that restrictive air flow away.
What kind of rims are those??
James Sciampacone these are factory wheels
What kind of Muffler you got on there?
None, just resonators.
Does the create
A lot of drone or no
+Pilot_guy 717 no drone at all
Talk about range Rover sport exhaust 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
that sounds really good i shoulda did this to my charger lol
😊nice!
I like mine nice & quiet.
Check out my video I got a 2017 chrysler 300 resonator delete and muffler delete sounds really loud
nice car ;)
to quiet
V8
thank you
Is it have the fuel efficient mode too?
@@Bob-kn5gw It has cylinder deactivation as long as it is not in sport mode.
Тачка просто секс.
It sounds like a range rover
Because 5 liter V8
bro you should got a X-Pipe instead of a dual. Much more power gains. Do some research.
Factory x pipe
Yup. Do some research.
Obviously it's the V8...jeez
S version of 300 is only V-6
Yea that sounds like shit.
Rip to your warranty.
