"Bobby" is Bob Hill who was one of the Chippendales in the late 80s and early 90s. He was always in great shape. At Chippendales he did The Officer and a Gentleman routine and wore a white naval uniform. I had the privilege of working with and working out with Bobby for a few years. Great guy.
Great video ! You can really see how strong Lee was here .... Bobby is big , but looks small compared to Lee ...Lee easily benches 415 like a paper weight and 295 on a very steep incline ..... *****
How much can the white guy bench I couldn't tell cuz Lee was giving him the spot the whole time and anybody that lifts heavy knows that if you didn't put one finger on there that's like 20 lb yet he had two hands on their even if he wasn't pulling it it makes a major difference so I don't know if that guy could actually bench for 15 for a double like he did what he did that's pretty impressive for his size for anybody really
So true, most people don’t understand that. Imagine if take powerlifting and touching bar while person able to to lift it. That will be red flag 🚩 or light, will blame the spotter for touching bar which it shutting down lifter’s mental up in their mind and think spotter helping him lift which it ruined it.
I always trained with plates facing out, but lots of people at the gym insisted on loading plates facing in...the people who didn't have a preference just weren't serious about lifting!
In my day I got best results from doing a combo of a couple of mid-range reps for warm up, then a couple of sets of low, and ending with a set of high reps
How crazy that we used to have this show on espn in the 90s. You couldnt even imagine that now.
Lee Haney just exudes positive energy. Imagine having someone like him for a training partner!
Which angle of the incline do you believe he is using?
My father and I used to watch this show. Great memories
Watched this show all the time back in the day 💪
So did I!
Lee Haney is a class act and a gentleman. There is a reason why he is an 8 time Mr. Olympia. Dude is massive with symmetry.
Lee will always be my favorite Mr Olympia. Mass with class.

Lee Haney is an inspiration
Lee Haney is the GOAT!! He’s one of my favorite guys! I take my advice from him when I workout in the gym or at home😊👊🏾
AND LOTS OF DRUGS.
@@anthonymartino9917without drugs Lee Haney was still great! Drugs just made him the greatest ever
"Easy weight!" at 9.34 💪🏼😁
So, Coleman developed it s bit further "Light weight baby!"
I like your perspective on history Johan!
"Let's bump it up a notch", Bobby laughs, "I love you", lol.
Love this! If you have more Haney content I would love to see more.
Thanks Zachary! I've got more, just have been slow getting everything posted...
Bobby is strong asf
🏋🏾♂️💪🏾🙏🏾I always liked Lee watched his show back in the day, always good...

Should have watched further ...... does an easy double with 325 high incline ....
And he did it in a TV studio while talking the whole time, adding a further degree of difficulty - remarkable athlete!
Would but this on with a big cup of coffee walk out to the garage and have the best workouts. Love it
Loved 35lb plates. Don't see them anymore.
Strongest bodybuilder ever
Positivity is great
that incline angle is definitely 45 degrees
LEE HANEY IS BEAST MODE TO ME 💪😃💪💪
Remember when training for power to do no more than 4-2 reps..

Lee quit touching the bar!
Ha! Whenever I asked someone for a "spot" I'd get annoyed if they unnecessarily touched the bar too - thanks Rice!
@@ShowBizBodybuilder oh man! That always burned my ass

ok genuine question why are they doing 2-4 rep ranges?
Just trying to push past the sticking point… he said it like 10 times in this video
Lee was the worst spotter ever 😂
Lee Haney is a little stronger than Bobby
Black man genetics
Clean 2 reps in bench press with 188.2kg 👍
Very easy 2 reps an incline press with 147.5kg 👌
Which angle of the incline do you believe he is using?
No Hammer strength required

I'd hate to get spotted like that
Cool, rare find, but I hate to see the plates loaded facing out… 🧐
Things like that burned my ass back in the day and I absolutely hated anyone touching the bar unless I asked, lol. Gym rat life.

Homie g og do what a homie g gotta do feel me on this home dawg it's gettin real crazyyy up in here dawg
@@ShowBizBodybuilderI didn’t even know anyone puts them facing in lol
Doing 2-4 reps is not as good as 6-12 for most people 🤷🏻♂️
*For bodybuilding

do this no more than at least twice a month at the most
Bobbie going to be sore in the morning
Jesus bro why does Lee keep touching Bobby’s weight
I think it is probably a bit too heavy for him. Haney classy - prob rather lift a bit for him then lower the weight for Bobby on camera
Why lee stop spotting sugar cookies
