I was just diagnosed with a vesicvaginal fistula that has been contributing to my recurring UTI after having a hysterectomy. An entire of this being either missed or not explored. Thank God for Urologists!

I have had a chronic uti for 18 years and I'm fed of clueless urologists and being fobbed of I don't know why chronic utis don't seem to be taken seriously when they should be this condition has killed my life and I don't know if I will be pain free ever again it's horrible being in deep agonising pain everyday for 18 years it's horrific very hard in the uk to get treatment and be taken seriously in the uk

It didn't matter how many times I told the doctors it wasn't IC and that i still had an uti they wouldn't and didn't treat it . Until years later when I became antibiotic resistance to most antibiotics
Very sad that this happens :(

Powdered D-mannose (2g or more per day), Serrapeptase (loosen biofilms). Also consider Ayurvedic treatments such as Utracon. Got rid of my chronic 3 yr UTI gently == no antibiotics. The urology field is making mountains out of molehills, unfortunately.

I've tried D-mannose, Vitamin C, and probiotics and nothing works. I've not heard of serrapeptase and Utracon is not in the US (that I can find.). I need something to help. I have 3 or 4 a year and am getting antibiotic-resistant.

I wish I could find a good urologist Im upstate New York. This is exactly what has happened to me and its a fight to get pcr/ngs testing . I also get urethral strictures its awful. My cultures come back negative always and a pcr test comes back positive. What company are you using because I know microgen only does a certain part of the test with New York you cant get the sensitivity and all the resistance genes

@@marybordwell6659 I cant afford to go to Louisanna unfortunatley. My urologist is doing pcr tests but Im fighting with the company right now that I used they paid two of my claims now they are denying them its a constant struggle. New York has some dumb rules here with the testing they dont allow the sensitvity part of the test and wont give all resistance genes.
