    You can trim the layers and then right click/keyframe assistant and sequence layers

    Mattes were the most confusing tools for me in after effects. You explained it plain and simple. There must be loads of other uses for them. Thank you!

      You're very welcome! Yes there are loads of other uses for them. With the latest version of AE it made the alpha mattes more simpler. Maybe we'll make an updated version of this tutorial in the future 😄 But if you check out the latest version it takes fewer steps to apply alpha mattes 😊

    The video Quality is only 360p & 1080p
    Some time the internet speed is slow and couldn't play 1080p please make available at 480 p and 710 p also.

      Hi! The video is available in those resolutions as well. It maybe because of your internet connection that locks you on to those resolutions.

    what after effect do you use ? 2021 ? and how much ram your laptop ?

      Yes, we're using after effects 2021, and the ram is 64 gb.

    After effects only shows me the names of my project files in track matte drop down menu, rather than alpha matte options. Why is this?

      This is because you're using a newer version of after effects. The one I'm using here is the old version. We'll probably make an updated version of this. But for now you can look for tutorials on the newer version 😊
