Hey Tony, absolute nightmare that day. I think every single top was lying to me 😂

My goodness, you're a brave man! That was brutal. Wind is what spooks us the most and you definitely got a lot of it. Fair play for filming so much, even the falls, and for finishing. I don't know whether you've put me off this route of inspired me! Great video. Regards, Ashley

Thanks Ashley, it was quite the day! I didn’t know how I felt about it afterwards either 😂. It is a great route and one I’d recommend for a nice wind free day 😆

Great effort Tony. Appreciate the sharing of sensible advice. Always good to plan 'exit routes' when plotting routes in the lakes as sometimes that weather can appear from nowhere. Keep up the great work

Hi Glyn, Thanks mate, yes it came from almost nowhere that day and sometimes you’ve just got to take plan B. The mountains aren’t going anywhere soon and it’s an excuse ti go back 😆.
I appreciate the support, enjoy it out there mate 🥾😁⛰️

Hi Tony, brilliant, it’s a stunning walk. You did well dropping off Causey Pike that route and in that wind. I agree with you, the cairns on that side of the horseshoe are rather disappointing! 🤣.
I did the full Newlands Round, believe me you did right splitting it in two. It’s a mahoosive route. I think it was about 16 miles and took us about 11 hours. I’ve a short video on my channel if you are interested.
    All the best mate, Dave

Glad you enjoyed it Dave, it is an amazing walk. I saw you do it with Walking wild camping uk. It looked pretty hectic all in one go! I've seen the route on your channel, really great way for people to check out the route! Have a great weekend mate.
