    So that's how you do it!?! Awesome!! Very interesting process. I'll admit for a second I thought maybe you had a trick up your sleeve where you would put your entire hand and forearm all the way inside while a second or third batch of material cured to get that elusive "like a glove" perfect fit! ;)

      Yes sir nothing fancy at all no tricks just a basic rotocasting. That would be a cool trick though. Thanks man as always!

      @@ChrisBoshProps Thank you for the confidence :D I have always found casting stuff incredible usefull, but have only done really small parts for tabletop games and dioramas. Looking forward to testing it out on something larger :) Just have a ton of projects I need to finish first :D really appreciate your videos, keep them comming :)

    Tip to add strength, you can use 4 way stretch fabric around the wrist area after your initial slush to keep the rubber from tearing. Looking good!

      Thanks that is a great tip! Unfortunately the wrist is super tight on this glove that an added fabric or mesh would make it too tight. I really have to go thin in that area with the rubber. Thankfully the VytaFlex is pretty strong. Thanks for the comment sir!

    After seeing the 3d prints now back looking at ur casting n now im getting anxiety attack again 😅 the amount of i gredients needed….dunno if i could pull that off. Anyway the finish product looks damn good i gotta say.

      It's not as bad as it looks. It's takes more time and patience then anything. Thanks for watching! Don't be afraid to take it on. Take courage

      @@ChrisBoshProps i saw people printing with TPU filamen, what do u think about those? Not trying to look for easy way just i dont hav room for a full on workshop at home, a 3D printing workshop is already gonna stretch a bit using my current home office T.T

      @@KahSing82 You should try flexible PLA instead. Its easier to print and can be cleaned up and painted much easier. Check for flexible PLA on Amazon
      That should work well for the midsection! TPU is too difficult to print and doesnt take prints well. Hope that helps and I completely understand.

    Would Vytaflex 30 also work, or does it need to be 40?

    • @ChrisBoshProps
      @ChrisBoshProps  8 месяцев назад

      30 would work the material would just be softer when cured and less strong. I used 40 as a nice in between. Not too hard and not too soft. But I'm sure 30 would be just fine.
