Great job Chris! Its so hard to convey to people how long every step takes and the fact that youll be sanding the entire suit multiple times!

You my friend know the pain. Sanding just sucks. Thanks for commenting sir.

You should create a Robo-Cable suit and a Lady Battle Cop suit too.

Another dose of much needed motivation from Chris! The suit is looking really good buddy! I've always thought a wearable mechanical thigh with gun holster would be so cool and I saw a video of one guy who made it happen but it wasn't screen accurate. It also had to be upsized so much to fit his leg into it that sadly I don't ever see it happening with Asen's model even with a marathon runner's legs. Would love to see your working display version in the future though!

Hey Joshua I appreciate the comment. Yeah I think I saw the same video and I thought it was still amazing he made it happen especially when wearing although like you said he had to upsize it quite a bit. Any screen accurate iteration just wouldn't or couldn't be wearable unfortunately. It's going to be fun trying to make it work and hopefully I'll get to it someday.

Hi Chris, thank you for another inspiring video.
2 things that you mentioned stood out to me..
    1. Use of greens on the suit. I read up a lot on Robocop and the production of the movie back in the day... I remember one of the things the production team mentioned was that, if you look at the suit in real life, it looked more green than anything. According to them, this was to help it register as more metallic on film. I hope it works out for you.
    2. The rods on the back of the legs. Yes, those are iconic, but they really aren't very helpful for walking! There are 2 ways action figures use to get around this.. one is to make the rods using a soft flexible material, or two, have the pistons' anchors on a ball joint. Not sure if either will be viable as a solution for your suit, it's just my very amateurish suggestion 😅
Thanks again for the video, and keep up the great work on the suit!👍

Thank for the detailed comment. Yeah your right the original has some layers of green. I'm going to try to replicate it the best I can without going too overboard and maintaining a silver look.
I've thought of using a rubber rod of sorts but still afraid of getting snagged or hung up. Thanks for watching and I appreciate the support.

Man I wish I could say. They are pretty countless at this point. No lie it's a ton of work but not impossible.

could you use foam tubes for piston rods? that way it wouldnt put any stress on any parts. just in the planning stages of mine now. in the process of cutting up files at the moment.

You should try to paint the suit like from robocop 2

I'm a Robocop 1 guy through and through. I like Robocop 2 but don't think I'd want a version of it for a suit.

Maybe one day, I don't really have time at the moment. Casting these particular pieces is not exactly the easiest thing to do. Thanks for the comment.
