This mercenaries mode in the remake was so much fun. And thanks to that, i got the handcannon and soon the platinum. Thanks Capcom.

@@cervixcrusader85In the remake, you only have to get S rank (at least 200k points) with just 1 character per map, not the 5 stars with EVERY character on EVERY map like it used to be. This is MUCH easier. It also only costs about 500k pesetas to go from unmodified to the unlimited ammo. Much easier than the original game, and I actually like it. The enemies in this game grab way too easily and they come in a larger swarm and it would be extremely frustrating to have to get an S++ rank with every character to get the hand cannon.
@@andrewchang7194 Yeah I got S++ for everyone on each stage last night. I hope they add more content for mercenaries, maybe a difficulty setting to make it more challenging or something. Can't wait till ada and Wesker are added.
I can say the same think because the origin re4 mercenaries we more harder and Les fun but now it's not only a bit more easy and it's fun to play today's re4
Since there's no Super Salvador yet, Hunk neck breaker basically make all mini boss like normal enemy.

You're underrated, and this is actually one of the best gameplays i seen, especially how you got S++ on all chars, i also love how all mercenary characters in RE4 Remake has a unique animation for kicks, abilities and more

Castle S Rank: Luis
Island S Rank: Leon.
I got these before I got Hunk, I found this made it easy to obtain the handcannon. Just gotta learn the best places, manage resources, and save mayhem for sticky situations l, bonuses and mini bosses.
So no Ada or Wesker in this mercenaries?
I think they will add them in another update but its good that they added luis

The mercenaries I enjoyed, I'm really looking forward to play as ada and wesker both if they add them plus they should have classic bgm in the mercenaries as well like they did in the main game
Luis seems like the hardest to play with and get S++. Hunk is so OP! Correction I have also seen how OP Krauser can be especially with his physicality and knife.
I played Luis once and somehow got S++, somewhere around 700k I think. I hate his red9, it’s so slow. His dynamite ability was great tho, they’re REALLY good if you can round up enemies in a group.
And yes HUNK is incredibly OP, got S++ on all stages with minor difficulty, his neck snap and infinite ammo mode makes it easy but also fun
Yep, Luis is trash... Hunk and Krauser OP.
Luis needs more precision and patience to play as. But his dynamite is op too since you can't get hurt from it. Just put in on the ground where enemies around you and shoot it, rinse and repeat 3x for single Mayhem.
Luis is not trash. The player who can't play Luis are the trash ones.
@@justice4all190 each character’s loadout is different. Some guns upgraded to the absolute best, others not so much

Played mercenaries for the first time yesterday on the remake, and a few thoughts:
- Leon went from the worst mercenaries character in the original game to the best. He only had the riot gun and the handgun in the original game, and his melee was the weakest one as well. In the remake, he has the semi auto rifle AND his kicks are a guaranteed kill.
- Luis is described as having a “weak close quarters” but his melee is arguably the best. In particular, his pipe melee kills everyone to the right of him, so it’s an EXTREMELY good crowd clearer.
- Krauser OP like always (I don’t like his mayhem mode though)
- Hunk had a huge downgrade in my opinion, let me tell you why. In the original game, hunk was the best character in the game because he was the only character that had a guaranteed instant kill from a melee, and the tmp staggered all enemies with a single headshot.
In the remake, EVERYONE has a great melee attack (Leon, Luis, Krauser) that guarantees a combo opportunity, AND their melee is MUCH faster and/or clears crowds better than Hunk’s (which is still the same neck breaker). Furthermore, the remake has FAR more enemies generated at once, meaning that Area of Effect melee attacks are far better (the kicks or the pipe) than Hunk’s neck breaker as the other melee attacks can stagger crowds. Hunk is much harder to play with in this because he can get overwhelmed by huge crowds that the game throws at him. It could be a skill issue but this is just something I noticed.
- mayhem mode was a great idea, especially since the scores for S, S+, S++ are all 200k+, great job by capcom
I'll have to disagree with HUNK's melee, as I still think it's very strong. It makes crowds spread out a bit so you can have a bit of breathing room, plus Hunk has the only "true" OHK with his melee as he can kill any mini boss with the snap, where the others give them good stagger. His Mayhem Mode is absolutely insane as you can destroy an entire crowd and rack up a lot of points doing so, plus it's useful if you somehow find yourself lacking SMG ammo and need to spawn more drops from kills.
Imagine if we get the merchant as a playable character
his weapon could be that with every weapon switch he pulls out a random weapon or maybe instead of reloading the weapon you just a random weapon with a full mag meaning theres no ammo on the map
his mayhem should the rocket launcher

Hi guys, I'm a mo cap performer and wanted to share a painful story of mine about these REmakes.
In late 2015 I was in contact with Capcom about the motion capture role of Leon for the upcoming RE 2 Remake.
I failed to mention I also have a voice acting background, in the end I lost the part...☹
Now many years later, when I see how successful those remakes are I can't believe I wasted such an opportunity.
In this business one audition can change your entire life.

Shame they removed Wesker and Ada, but I suppose Wesker would be just like Krauser, and Ada... What could her mayhem mode would be?
They are going to come in a DLC later.
Ada pretty sure would come with her capaign and Wesker as a single character.
Ada and Wesker’s story is tied together. There’s no coincidence that those are the only two missing characters from the data mine. There will be DLC with ada, wesker, secondary costume leon and ada, a fourth map, and of course ada’s storyline separate ways that will include the boss U2 that was removed from leon’s story.
Leon’s theme is a remix of the ending of the B scenario from the original Resident Evil 2

Не играл в 4 часть но боевая система выглядит куда лучше чем в 8 части. Где много упростили, а режим наёмников вообще отстой. Что там не понравилось больше всего? Надо запоминать где мобы появятся чтобы пройти на S ранг, не говоря о мобах котрые то хотят встают, то лежат в уголке пока ты по ним не стрельнешь. А уголочек тёмный можно мимо пробежать

Honestly? This just got me more elated and happy about Re5 remake. (and Code Veronica. If they actually do it.) I can only imagine what's it going to be like. Especially Mercenaries! Hopefully there's a Golden Edition just like the og one. With most of all the Stars members. I can't wait.

Do you ever have it where you can't activate the time nodes? Most of the time 1 or 2 have the "F" prompt with a 🚫 through it and I can never activate it.
