A lot of people think that the Turkish March by Mozart actually has anything to do with Turkish music. I searched everywhere on the internet and I have not found anywhere where this is in anyway proven or even explained. It was named a Turkish March for some reason not actually related to the music itself.
The Ottoman-Russian conflicts, which lasted until the 1780s, arouse fear in Europe. The idea of Turks entering Europe through Russia is truly frightening. He artistically describes the rapid course of the Turks. In addition, a strategic location like the Crimea was taken by the Turks at that time.
Woo hoo this is better than the original Turkish March rondo alla turca so it’s like the Turkish March in a jazz way and anyway the jazz is really really cool I can’t really stop watching this video to cool for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's not improvised, but an arrangement he wrote years ago. This, of course, doesn't change the fact, that he's amazing.
