    How to build your own pollen feeder.
    SUPPLIES:
    ONE - FOUR INCH SEWER CROSS
    ONE - FOUR INCH STREET 90° ELBOW THREE - FOUR INCH DRAIN GRATES
    THREE - PIECES OF 4 INCH SEWER PIPE (CUT 3 INCHES LONG)
    THREE - 4 INCH 22 1/2° FITTINGS ONE - UPRIGHT PIECE OF 4 INCH PIPE TO HOLD POLLEN
    (WE USED A 2 FOOT PIECE)
    ONE- FOUR INCH CAP

    Any update on how well this worked? Did you have to modify at all or did everything go as planned?

      It actually worked like a dream! The girls hit hard earlier this spring!

    I just watched your vid, why is the riser so tall? It looks like when you pour the pollen sub down the tall riser it would come out the openings! I feed a cup at a time in an empty old plastic jar laying on its side.

      When you add the pollen it fills the inside of the tall piece and sits on the cross section at the bottom. As they take it, the tall piece gravity flows the pollen substitute down. This will allow us to fill it less and let the bees take what they need.

      you need more bees, a cup don't last 1 day around here LOL
