Hand symbol for the crow is "assualt" at 4:45 After resolving the attack, place them in same square as the target or adjacent if the square is full. So apart from drawn to noise they are also seem good at keeping on your ass after a push/miss.
I feel like these types of games are found because you can change the rules if you want. I played this game with Leon and Hunk because there my favorite characters and I can play as them
Things are going really great for our good old reliable Chris 😂 I am glad you are going through this board game as I won't see it live anywhere in the near future 😅 I wonder how the exploration cards are labeled/organized, as I see there is no actual "random" factor in them, but just slowly building the map as you move. Do they all have location names on the back? Hope to get a new scenario soon! 🎉 Thanks again for this!
So glad you did this...loved watching along to your resi 3 boardgame as it went into a complete difderent direction to mine. Just about to jump into this myself. Looking forward to resi 4?
Not sure I’ll be able to afford RE4 at the moment sadly but I am curious how they’ll represent the style of gameplay it has compared to the old fashioned RE games.
Been watching RE1BG since you started and I need to say, does it stay in the rulebook that doing the whole exploration thing allows you to teleport for free? Cause when I watched the devs play the game I noticed they spent actions to mower into the rooms blindly. Also I believe the puzzle mechanic works like this. Spend action on the crest, check the leftmost card for a match, if it doesn’t match you reshuffle the cards, if it’s correct you continue with it face up and check the next crest etc etc
Your thoughts on the keys taking up inventory space or not, I believe they do take up space as Jill’s special ability is master of unlocking that states she can unlock any door if another character has the key in inventory. Though you do get old keys that you pick up so it’s hard to say probably a good point to msg steamforged games to get further info on the matter.
In my head, I imagine they started this puzzle with the intention of shuffling any cards you looked at with the one that was removed, thus leaving you without the knowledge of what the other two cards are. However, doing it solo, you could get to the third crest, get it wrong and then have to start all over again with a full reset, so perhaps they relaxed it so as not to make it too hard. I’d have preferred if they stuck to the current rules for solo play, but for group play made you shuffle after a check, as in a group it wouldn’t be so difficult to retry the code.

Think you got the puzzle right, just got lucky because your card was the last one turned so you got to see the other two!

Just what I needed today.

If you instead of having the wind crest you´d have the sun crest, what should have you done?
Did a play along of scenario 1. How do you build the Decks?
The rulebook takes you step by step through the process.
