these cat ears are basically viral lie detectors, they move differently when you're focused, stressed or calm etc. but bts didnt really need them, they know each other so well, so the ears are basically cute accessories haha

Little info, whenever they say “friends” they don’t mean it the same way we do. In Korean it means people that are the same age. U don’t rly call someone your friend unless u are the same age. However they might sometimes say “he’s older than me by a couple years but we’re basically friends”
Actually both V and Jungkook were on diet. Jungkook just started the diet that day while V had been doing it for a few days already

I think JK said this to support V and make him not feel alone. If it’s the very first day of your diet there is no damage to move it to tomorrow due to shooting of the show. Especially as we know this is almost the last episode.

pickles are eaten as a side dish like pickled radishes with noodles, it’s to cut the dense fattiness of the pizza.
we put veggies on pizza a lot but i’d never heard of sweet potato on pizza until i saw bts eating it 😂

5:17 yeah, pickles on pizza are relatively popular in my country (Poland) as well, but to be fair... we love pickles in general. its not my fav topping but with right combination of other toppings its tasty. you can monstly find combination of pickles, onion and slices of sausage, its often called "villager's pizza" (roughly translated)

speaking of mr paik and since jin also mentioned it.. i recommend you watch the show jin did with the chef it's roughly called "alcohol journey with jin" which you can find on bangtantv, it has 4 episodes and you get to see a side of jin that you probably never saw before i think it's gonna be fun!!

The cat ears basically move when it detect brainwaves according to ur emotions. So the staffs let them put those to detect the liar. That's why jimin's ears moved downwards the moment he lied cuz the cat ears detected his brainwaves that he lied. Also jhope's ears moving slowly after the instruction was given cuz the cat ears detected his brainwaves that he doesn't understood a single thing about the instruction that's why jimin laughed and pointed at him right away cuz jimin saw jhope's ears moving as if he didn't understand
Jin also had a show with Mr Paik where he was taught how to make traditional alcohol. It's on the BantanTV channel as well and very fun to watch and it has 4 episodes but you can watch them all in one sitting. Yoongi also has a drinking show Suchwita you should watch those too. Just a suggestion on what to watch next

Lol they aren’t saying putting pickles on top of the pizza, but on the side in between every few bites to cut the grease and be a bit refreshing since pizza is so greasy. Similar to how people eat kimchi on the side when eating Korean barbecue

Pickles on pizza is actually really good. I've had a Cuban inspired pizza with dill pickles on it and I eat pickled radish on pizza. Both are super tasty.

Hello! I'm Korean, living in the States. For the pizza thing, I was actually surprised when I first moved to the States and ordered a pizza with friends for how few toppings they ordered. Usually there is a LOT of stuff on pizza (sweet potato/corn being most popular topping on pizza), and a lot of menus include various combinations of many toppings. Now whenever I go visit Korea and my friends order pizza, I kinda hesitate whenever they order super massive topping pizzas, but they usually taste super good (even when in doubt at first)
the mango pickle you can get from shops its a green colour i put tat on my pizza when i make it at home with lamb meats its really good

Oh no, you got it all wrong. The cat ears weren't just a prop to make them look cute. 🤦♀As they already mentioned and Stephanie read out it is an "electroencephalograph" which is an instrument that reads brain waves to detect if someone is lying. If it moves a lot that means the person is lying. That's why the boys were observing it move and calling each other out when it moved too much. The cat ear lie detectors are pretty well known and went viral long back which is why ARMYS requested for it. Wish you'd known that detail 😕

It's not pickles 'on' pizza.Pickles are side as palete cleanser.We have kimchi culture in Korea so most Korean people need palete cleanser when they eat greasy food.Actually it makes next bite taste better.

Mr Paik, or Chef Baek, as he is also known, is one of the biggest chefs in South Korea, with a chain of restaurants in Korea and internationally, and many TV shows too. He has also mentored a lot of small restaurants and cafes. Over there, he is the equivalent of Gordon Ramsay or Jamie Oliver.

I don't have sweet potatoes in my country at all. But when we cook our classic pizza… pizza without pickles is not pizza. It's really delicious.
Korean pizzas always come with pickles but they're not on top of the pizza but more like a side dish type of service along with different sauces.
I truly enjoy watching you reacting to BTS videos on YT and on Patreon. In fact, I've even gone back to rewatch some of your older episodes. I really admire your dedication to posting videos at frequent intervals on both platforms in spite of your regular jobs, 'cus I'm dead tired at the end of my workday.

It isn’t exclusive to korea but probably popular since we have also have it here in japan. Korea’s pizza toppings are actually quite tame compared to japan. Japanese pizza have the weirdest combination out there.😅

Pickles on pizza sounds delicious. I usually eat pepperoni pizza with kimchi. Kimchi balances the saltiness of the pepperoni
I haven’t tried sweet potato, corn nor pickles as side dish for pizza. I’m from PH btw, and it’s more common with local pizza places to have meat, cheese and the occasional pineapple for toppings

I'd never heard of pickles with it before, but trust me, it's really good! You don't put them on it, or at least I didn't, I ate it side by side.
I went to Egypt several years ago and learned that they put ketchup on pizza and I learned from another BTS reactor that in South Africa they put mayonnaise on their pizza (yuck! 😂).

I never had piccolos on pizza, but Sweet potato and corn is really good.
And I eat the crust first because it’s the ‘worst’ part, and after I eat the rest (the good stuff)
Sweet sliced pickles are a sidedish served alongside pizza in Korea. I think Koreans are accustomed to having a pickled vegetable with meals and the crunch and sweet of a pickle offset the salt and cheese of a pizza - more like a palate cleanser between bites of pizza. That said, I personally never eat the pickles. But as for sweet potato, it is great on a pizza! It works! Korean pizza topping ingredients are next level and often a surprisingly pleasant combination of textures and flavors. I really hope you get a chance to try it out!

So the pickles are not directly on the pizza (or at least ive never seen it). It's usually separate, they just eat it together lol. I don't enjoy cubed pieces of sweet potatoes on my pizza but they have like a sweet potato mousse which I love and also sweet potato crust. I don't like the corn on my pizza though!

And he was winning till the end where hobi made tae rush and he got confused , but not just in this episode we noticed that they always help each other when they're not in the same team a solo stan like you won't see that 🤷

5:46 I'm from the states, but I'm asian so I try everything once and don't judge others' foods hahaha. Like I hate pineapple on pizza and I don't like anchovies on pizza, but at least I tried all of that multiple times before deciding it's not my preference XD. I can imagine every country has different toppings for pizza. Just like I have to try McDonalds every time I go to a different country cuz a lot of times they have different menu items.

I think pickles on the side to eat along with pizza but not on the actual pizza....mostly because warm pickles does not sound good to me....crispy cold pickles in between pizza bites sounds good though.
Someone already said but the ears are lie detectors....they move if you are emotional etc....but BTS really didn't need to use them much as they know each other very well....but it was still one of the cutest and one of my favorite parts when Jimin gets flustered and wants his ears to keep still. There is a pad on their forehead and a clip on their ear that is how the ears are getting the fluctuations to see if you are telling a lie. It would make sense to keep the question a secret (they have done a game like that before) if they didn't have the lie detectors on. With the lie detectors they are hoping they will hear the question and get flustered and the ears will move revealing them.

The ears use the same technology used to track your your stress and heart levels so they legitimately track your responses the same way an animals ears communicate their feelings. It's so weird and I want them. 😂
I went to my schools biofeedback lab for stress and anxiety and they had a machine with this technology. The sensor on the earlobe tracks your pulse and the activity in your body like the finger ones at a Dr office. Once plugged in, I could watch it tracking my breathing, pulse, heart rate levels and it could also tell me the potential health risks I was facing due to my anxiety levels and what sort of sleep I could achieve. The process they had me go through was to learn different methods of breathing specific to my body to manipulate my vegas nerve (sp?) To combat panic and anxiety attacks and reduce my stress levels and then they programed the specific breaths per second into an app on my phone to take with me for when I need guided help. It's a really cool and useful therapy that as far as I know, only a select few schools have access to. Anyway, all this to say that the ears are tracking everything and it works.
