Using that one Rare Candy in the Blaine fight makes all the sense in the world in context, but I'm kind of giggling over what it would sound like to someone who had no clue what was going on. "We're going to level up here so that we don't level up here."
Why would you use splash for not allowing struggle strats instead of the much funnier self destruct? I guess hm users could make you win a battle but that would just force you to reset instead of taking the xp so technically self destruct is worse
Hey man, hope you had a great Easter if you celebrate, and really enjoyed the total show that was your April Fool's joke haha. 'Bout to settle in and watch/catch up, thanks as always for the content!
This one was hack of a lot of fun, showing an interesting point overall for both pokemon, speed was a major factor in end game, especially for Chaderpie because it needed to bypass it's lack of special, and it shows especially with the champion. Exlax was struggling with the scaling of the mid game as a slow growth rate pokemon, that had to rage for most of the run. I'm glad that gen 1 rage is getting some love😂. That makes me wonder how bad a normal type Gengar would do ? I really liked the splits graphics,it suits overlay style way better than before. Keep it up!😊
Just got to the 4-minute mark, and I don’t think Caterpie would quite be able to do minimum battles, considering its lower soeed and Twineedle being its only damage-dealing move
My guess as to why Snorlax did better than Mewtwo is because all the relevant stats and conditions were better for Snorlax here. Rage is Normal type (so STAB), and Snorlax has better HP for soaking up attacks to increase the power of Rage.
1.125^12 = 4, so with the ×4 multiplier from +6 attack you get to 16 times increase from those 12 badge boosts. Then twin needle has effective base power 1200 including stab and all the boosts. That is _wild_
In hindsight I wonder how much easier Chaderpie's run would be if it had Agility instead of Harden. If it manages to land the first Spore every fight would be almost a guaranteed win oO
Going in and guessing rage carries Exlax. He's actually tanky enough to get it up to decent power. Caterpie with great moves will probably do horribly, just because everything outspeeds and murders the little guy.

Yeah, clearly I gave the best explanation in history 😂
That was an intriguing run.
It just goes to show how powerful sleep status is in Gen 1 plus badge boost.
Ph yeah, sleep and bbg are tough, but bad speed is still really bad at the end of the day
Oh wow this is the geeatest novelty in gen 1 challenge runs i ve ever seen. I m subscribing, assuming more are coming
Oh yeah! I have lots planned - More type change runs, versus runs, crazy moveset runs, and of course Minimum Battles runs
Between these challenges as JRose’s solo runs, I think it’s safe to say that movesets matter much much more in early Pokémon games than type/stats
Yeah, in particular early game movesets matter. Taking forever to get through Brock basically means bad times no matter how good you are thereafter.
I really loved this video, your channel is so underrated wishing for your best ❤❤
Thank you so much, that is amazing!

OMG you're right!!!! Plus that would be hilarious 😂
Double Badge Boosting: Gen 1 giveth.
1/256 miss: Gen 1 taketh away.
Fact! Chaderpie failed completely at the end, thanks to the glitchiness of Gen 1 after having exploited it's glitchiness the whole time until then
Stringshot was OP in the anime. Took out team rocket single handed
Stringshot should be a 1hko move, at least if you hit it 6btimes

Thank you! Hope you had a great Easter as well. Thanks for watching and laughing along with me!

For sure, I will do my best to keep it going. Normal Gengar sounds nuts 😂. Basically that's Clefable, but sounds legit
@@RBYPokemonChallenges Maybe a versus video between the two, would be probably very interesting and funny in a sense 😂.

Let's find out
I woke up too early. This should help me get back to sleep
Glad to help! Use Rest!
I did. After I used helping hand.
My money is in the giant teddy bear, full of fluff.
There you go!!

All true. It's also a case where it's typing still means it rarely takes super effective damage, so it can really utilize it's high HP to survive.

Yeah, BBG is insane. Together with Sleep it is the single most broken strategy in Gen 1
I just find the nickname ExLax hilarious for some reason. But yeah this run was hilarous.
ExLax is second to only MewPoo in the name department
In hindsight I wonder how much easier Chaderpie's run would be if it had Agility instead of Harden. If it manages to land the first Spore every fight would be almost a guaranteed win oO
Except the Champion's Flareon, that thing is unkillable 😂
I like Caterpie a lot more than Snorlax, so I'm rooting for that one.
I can respect that!
The music cuts out around 1:30:00, not sure why.
ChadErpie should have got Siesmic Toss 🤔
Fair enough...
maybe give chaderpie agility over harden so its like doing some speed before a workout lmao
That is upcoming. Gigachaderpie 😂
@@RBYPokemonChallenges let's gooooo haha hell yeah
Nice channel
Thanks and welcome

Rage iis actually pretty legit on that one. It's not as bad as its reputation unless the opponent use4s accuracy moves.
Of the 2 I say that Snorlax is still way better but Psywave as a attack sucks for ANY Pokemon that can use it not JUST Snorlax.
Yeah, because it is just a random generated damage attack.
Yeah, but in some cases it's the only decent move. Sand Attack kills Rage users so fast in Gen 1
POWERTHIRST IS CHAD-ERPIE!
MEWPOO SHALL NEVER DIE!!!!!! lol
Fact!
But he will faint?
Replace rage with bubble
Aw yeah!
CHADERPIEEEEE ❤❤❤❤
Ah yeah!!!!
Dome fossil ftw! o/
We know which is the best fossil
good god.. you failed like 30 time in the first ten minuets.
That is kind of the pint, but yeah 😂
second!
Still top 3, that's legendary!
