What a difference in looks and demeanor for Taylor now! Still the same unrecognized talent though by radio and record companies. So glad Vegas loves him!
There is a really nice quality in his voice. Actually he cut out some of the woos after this performance. The producers of Idol had actually encouraged him to play up the quirks.
He played up the hokey a little. Thought it worked for Idol and I guess it did, he won. Catch a show if you ever get a chance, an outstanding live performer. Through always good, this wasn't his best song.

2006 was the best Idol season. period.

It was a good choice for him, but not one of his best performances.
He needs a little voice instruction. He is talented but he goes off key some of the time and he is too over the top sometimes. Makes him hokey.
