Girl you and I have the same taste in fragrances. I dislike the very floral/powdery scents. I like those types of scents more when they are paired with warmer/woodsier notes! You should try YSL Black Opium. Sounds like something you'd like based on your tastes!

These look like great options and think you explained them well! :) I wish stores offered more fragrance sample options to take home and ponder over before purchasing, even for a few bucks. Those in-store testers and catalog inserts are not enough for such a personal and expensive purchase.

My favourite office perfume: Juliette Has a Gun - Not a Perfume (one note perfume - very fresh very unoffensive); my favourite fall/winter perfume: Histoires de Parfum - 1740 (rich, warm, leather-heavy, contains labdanum which I love, but is very polarizing); my favourite summer/spring perfume - L'Occitane - Fleur d'or Acacia (fresh floral, I think it's discontinued which is a shame); my favourite most recent purchase: Rosie Jane - Leila Lou (fruity floral - pear-forward).
I bought the Oribe Côte d'Azur perfume and I adore it. I also got the hair and body oil (just ordered my second bottle) and the hand lotion in the same scent. You have gotten me completely obsessed with Oribe products in general. Bought the Ouai Rue St. Honore for my daughter, and I got the Ouai Melrose Place and North Bondi for myself. We are loving all of them!

If you like these, especially the Viktor&Rolf and Bvlgari, you should try Jo Malone Peony and Blush Suede! It’s lovely! Also, Vince Camuto Amore!! They’re both staples in my fragrance collection.

Tom Ford black orchid has been one of my favorites for the last few years. It smells so unique and luxurious to me. If you like unique deeper scents like that I recommend Book by Commodity.
I love the OUAI fragrance North Bondi. Also Kristen Ess releases a limited edition perfume of her signature hair fragrance around the holidays and many people say its a dupe for Mojave Ghost . I've been eyeing Armoni SI this fall. I have a sample and I love it!
The Versace Bright Crystal sounds right up my alley. I'm a fresh, citrusy kind of gal (especially in hot weather). 🙂
I love Libre. One of my all time favorites. I also love Si Passione Armani. Recommend if you need another. Amber,cedar, vanilla, patchouli pear, pink pepper and black currant.

I feel like you def need to try Viktor and Rolf Flowerbomb Midnight!! I love the Good Girl perfume, and I feel like Flowerbomb midnight has that same vibe just with floral/freshness vs the sweetness of Good Girl

I love fragrance videos! Libre is good. I have Libre Intense which I love more. My favorites are Kayali Musk, and sweet Diamond, Delina and Good Girl Gone Bad.

Loved this video! I enjoy discovering new scents! One of my absolute favorites is Arizona Bloom from Floral Street. It's a British company but you can get from their website or try Sephora.
I am still trying to find the perfect osmanthus scent. It is sweet olive which the trees were everywhere in New Orleans when I lived there. Beautiful aroma, sultry sweet floral scent with a bit of musk. So far the best idea, I have is purchasing a tree 🌳 😀.

I got the YSL Libre as a birthday gift to myself this year (first luxury purchase too haha) as I was looking for a new scent to try and agree that it smells absolutely amazing and luxurious! Another personal fave is the Gucci Bloom Nettare di Fiori :)

You gotta try Chloé Nomade. It's my all time fave. Also ko Malone's Peony Blush & Suede. They are my faves. Love the Tom Ford Black Orchid too. 🙌
I really enjoy Chloe Nomad! It's unique but very wearable. I almost passed it by because I'm not a fan of the original Chloe.
The YSL Libre is my favorite! I keep trying other ones, but always come back to that.

Thank you for this video! I’ve always thought I needed to find a “signature” fragrance and was overwhelmed at the thought of picking one from the enormous array. So I never did. I love videos about fragrances! So glad you did this one. If you're interested in doing another fragrance video, it might be cool for you to do what you think are underrated fragrances versus overrated fragrances. E.g. for me underrated would be pretty much any Roberto Cavalli perfume. Everything they put out is gorgeous. Overrated for me would be Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue. It smells like lemon Pledge/floor cleaner or something.
I thought I am the only one who doesn’t like Dolce and Gabbana.😅
My favorite perfume is outdated too, and hard to find. It's Jimmy Choo Illicit. They say it is "Sophisticated, provocative, hypnotic, seductive and floriental" It has ginger and orange top notes, rose, and Jasmine mid-notes and Amber and sandalwood base notes. I just think it smells beautiful. Speaking of outdated, I love the smell of Chanel #5 but I don't buy it because I don't want to be accused of being older than I am! Will definitely have to go check out your top picks!
I don't wear fragrance very often but I generally gravitate toward warm, woodsy, spicy scents that usually contain sandalwood and/or patchouli in the mix. Recently I ordered the new room spray called Shop from Deciem(parent company of The Ordinary) and I really like it. It smells like a nice men's cologne to me.

i LOVE armani rouge malachite. it was stupid expensive but no regrets, i feel like such a badass when i wear it. def a night time date fragrance tho. for daytime/office, i love gucci bamboo.
Oeeh excited to see Good Girl and YSL Libre :) I think you might like Sexy Amber by Michael Kors as well. It is my favorite but I sometimes switch to Good Girl or YSL Libre. And Hugo Boss Orange if I want something sweeter. I will def check out some of the perfumes in the video 😍
Sexy Amber is one of my husband's faves! It's also great for layering.

My favourite fragrance is Tom Ford Champaca Absolute. I think you would really like it just by seeing your collection. It’s champaca (a very sweet flower from the magnolia flower family), amber, vanilla, jasmine, orchid, violet, sandalwood, and cognac.
Oh, and go try Gentle Fluidity by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. That’s my second favourite. I love mixing it with Le Labo Santal 33. It is a very Vanilla amber scent with some very unexpected soft spice but it’s strong af! It reminds me of having ice cream in the park on a spring day.
Yes nothing better than ysl Libre for me😍 such a shame no mainstream designer brand is cruelty free so unfortunately they’re all a no for me but they’re definitely gorgeous scents.

Yes! I recently went cruelty free with perfumes too (first it was make up), so now I am much more limited with my perfume choices, is such a shame that almost all main streem brands test on animals! 💔
But it's worh it to look for those brands that are CF and support them
Dossier is cruelty free and makes dupes of a lot designer perfumes including YSL Libre!! I bought their version of ysl libre, black opium, and carolina herrera good girl and I think they all smell identical to the real thing
The bvlgari omnia crystalline was my signature scent in college, I think it’s the only perfume bottle that I’ve ever completely finished
Also, Omnia Coral its my summer favorite!
Libre Intense is even better because it lasts longer and has better projection. Also Chloe Nomade is so yummy, it has oak moss in it but blended beautifully with florals.
My favorite are Dolce & Gabana Light Blue and YSL Black Opium

My husband's favorite fragrance on me is Chanel No. 5. My bottle dates to the mid 80s (I don't wear fragrance too often - they used to trigger migraines( I find it too much for every day. But.. . I'll say it's old but classic!
This is me lately. Bought so many perfumes in the past 2 months. My most recent is Alien Fusion. I just got it today. Trying to decide if i like it or not.
My current favorites are 540 and GG Legere. Also loving Fireside Flurries from Bath and Body.

Hi Abbey ❤, I've really enjoyed watching this video 📹 from you 😊 since different for you. Describing perfume is a hard task to do 😘 never put yourself under pressure for that. Oh I know that alot of perfumes can be very expensive 😅 and sometimes you never want to use it because of the price point. I'm more into subtle, fresh fragrances, cause that anything too strong, flowery or sweet would give me a headache. Thanks again for the video 📹, love you loads 😘.
My favorite perfume is the amber perfume oil from The Soap Opera on State Street in Madison, Wisconsin. Since I no longer live in Madison, thank goodness for The Soap Opera’s website and online shopping.

I’m going to try the Oribe. Neiman Marcus has a sample set for $18. I adore Melrose Place by Ouai. Very fresh and clean smelling . Have you ever tried anything by Jo Malone? They have so many awesome fragrances. I’m obsessed with Wood Sage and Sea Salt.

It’s amazing to me that these huge companies with huge marketing budgets do not understand what the name of their product or the color of the product can do to sales. I never would’ve picked up that pink Versace perfume until hearing your description. I also agree with flower bomb… I never would have given that a second glance because it sounds overly flowery. These companies need to get it together! LOL

The J'adore Infinissime is my go to. Sandalwood (base) Bergamot and blood orange (top notes) and rose, jasmine, Ylang-ylang and grasse tuberose. Makes me happy & feel sexy!

Have you ever tried any fragrances from Maison Francis Kurkdijan such as Baccarat Rouge or Grand Soir? I love them! They're very pricey so I'd recommend ordering directly from his website and paying in euros rather than ordering from Saks or Nordstrom or another high end retailer. It's much cheaper to just pay for it in euros than USD.
No. Don’t order from the website. You have to pay duties once it crosses customs. It ends up costing more money.

Great... Now I'm going to make a trip to check some of these out. I think you should check out my outdated favorites... alien by Mugler and Dolce and Gabana Light Blue Intense... One is perfect for cool weather cozy vibes and the night time, while the other is juicy and bright and wonderful for everyday wear. Hope you check them out!

Perfume is “outdated”? I have a large collection and very little of it was released in the last 10 years. Being new and popular has nothing to do with what smells good or is quality.
