- This video has been made in tribute of Base Jumper and Wingsuit flyer Ludovic Woerth. Ludo was considered by many to be one of the greatest flying cameramen on the planet, responsible for much of the great footage you see of this sport.
This video is a compilation of clips from other sources.

he did what he loved best, nothing more nothing less, his spirit will glide forever, sad he could not amaze us more with his artful skill. Better than dying in a nursing home in total anonymity!! Mistakes in his world can be very dear. Fly away like the bird you once were.

A month or so ago I watched all the episodes of "A Perfect Flight" on here and was hooked on it. Almost felt like I knew the guys. Then I heard the news, and of course Ludo's name stood out. This is so incredibly sad, this guy was someone who loved life but finally gave his life for doing what he loved. Great tribute video to a great man. RIP Ludo.

I will still love your vids even if you all stay an extra 100 feet or 40 meters from cliff faces or tree tops. Please stay safe/safer for more jumps.

I have to say after watching hours upon hours of these videos if you're gonna go down wingsuiting I'd prefer it happen in Switzerland. The most beautiful landscapes!

Thanks for a great tribute to an amazing man. I watched The Perfect Flight as soon as it came out, and always looked forward 1 week to the next episode. I loved that series, and what Ludo, Jokke and Espen did was amazing. I also loved watching Dream Lines, which was of course filmed mostly by Ludo. His footage has inspired thousands, and anyone who has watched a wingsuit video must have seen his footage. Was shocked at the news of the deaths of Ludo, Dan, and Brian. It still seems strange to think they're gone, even though I never knew them. I have never even skydived, but it still feels like a huge loss.
Great tribute, R.I.P Ludo and blue skies to the skydivers out there.

Thats so sad he died, been hooked on the perfect flight videos and your amazing camera work has inspired me to take action and do my aff course, flying a wingsuit is a long way off but i will get there, my dream is to fly these swiss routes u guys have and u can be sure im going to make this dream a reality. Very, Very sad. The load Ludo was on was trying to get to the line you see at 9.15 on this video, but turned to the right instead of left and ended up in that long flat field you see instead of the steady down grade in the video. They tried to get back to the line and just could not make it.
Ludo only missed getting back to the line by 9 feet. They had no time to pull chute or did not realize they could not make it back.
RIP Ludo, Dan and Brian. Three great flyers, Ludo and Brian were both Videographers.
This sport has lost some of the best in the last 2 years.

+7seattle7 I can't remember exactly where I read it, but it came from a wing suit pilot who was supposed to fly with them. He went into great detail about watching the data on their flight and how the crash happened. It unfortunately was their error and they exited the helicopter at the wrong spot. If I can find the article I will link it. Thanks.
He even confirmed that the exact spot they were trying to reach is on Dreamlines IV and which way they went instead. Very sad.
