    You beautiful poet flying through clouds in total freedom. You made us dream Monsieur. Us stuck in traffic in our little cars and freshly ironed shirts fearing for our job and rent. Is God that lonely that he needs another angel by his side? Merci young man. Really.

    Three guys died jumping from a helicopter which hovering over the wrong spot, they jumped thinking they were over a gorge but it was actually a field and by the time they realized they weren't in the right spot they didn't have time to pull their chutes.

    • @robbx1539
      @robbx1539 6 лет назад +1

      I doubt that's what happened..As far as not knowing where they were.
      They knew just where they were..they missed their left turn at a spot at the top of a huge ridge. The beginning of a line in Hintisberg..They had been loosing altitude and speed with a tail wind...
      The mountain has a ledge valley that drops off into a lower valley floor. One side after a ridge in the valley ledge. The slope degree is greater at the end; before the drop off into the lower Lutschental valley.
      After the turn they came down on the right of the ridge. They made a left into a valley that had less of a slope degree; as the area they were looking to be. An attempt to get back on their original line I think. The area they wanted to be; the line at the end had a continued slope.
      Where they were began to leveled off much flatter without the same kind of slope. So as they flew the line, and were not moving fast enough; to low.
      They were riding the slope at a close proximity. The slope degree began to lessen as it leveled out. Their flight path degree angle in relation to the angle of the slope began to decrease as they approached the end of the line, and it flattened out.
      They are dropping and the slope they were riding was flattening out. They were not able to make it to the end, and ran out of slope; impacting very very close to making it (showing their flying skill level) to the drop off.

    Thanks for pioneering new forms of technology. It is dangerous.
    Hopefully that wing suits become more safe in life time. These folk who do the crazy make it possible for others in the future to do it safely. This is going to be safe in the future.
    How? Technology will help people time the jump to make it safer and make it an escape for airlines in trouble.There will be drones and robotics put into the wing suits and super batteries to power motors to slow it down.
    These technology needs to be improved. It can be done. It has to be done. RIP. Thanks for your inspiration. Thanks to the other pioneers.

      they are safe ..its the proximity jumps that are dangerous .you can easily fly 200 300 ft over the ground ,but they choose to get closer .its like that saying ,he flew to close to the sun... plus hang gliders are better over all.

    • @PatrickMcAsey
      @PatrickMcAsey 5 лет назад

      This is fanciful thinking. What on earth have you got in mind? Issuing passengers with wing suits and five-minute training in how to use them? What? The minority of air accidents that happen when the plane is in mid-air happen so quickly that there is no time for anybody to do anything. And in any case, there are very few of these. You're about 1800 times more likely to die in a car accident than on a scheduled passenger plane.

    What comes to mind is that mythological tale of Zeus' son who was told to mind his surroundings when flying.
    Yet he was too boastful and deliberately flew CLOSE TO THE 🌞 SUN to show off his new creation for that heffa on the Southside of the Equator.
    WELL, tale as old as time has it that he completely ignored instruction and got too close to the HOT SUN which melted the Gorilla Glue his sista has just bought for her naps for some music video....
    Yet he just used it anyhow to glue feathers around his golden nappy hair and also to glue more feathers
    into his wings cos he was planning on spreadin' them WINGS far and wide for the heffa!!

      These jumps they are making, need to be planned out by helicopter. To figure out which ways they need to go. This jump he made obviously, wasn't fully calculated, to take a wrong turn.

  • @rieper91

    Wonderful video, it looks like Ludo's still alive and you can't figure out about the accident. It's true that when you do something which remains, you'll never die.
    Just a question: i can't find anywhere the song starting at 0:43, what's the name?

    • @outoftime7740
      @outoftime7740 3 года назад

      Ludo was leading the way and took a wrong turn, when he realized there wasn't a drop in front of him. It's was a long straight away that couldn't account for the speed he was going. The other 2 guys following, died as well. He shouldn't have gone jumping without Jokke. Together these guys were great.

      Ludo jumped off a mountain, that they fully didn't calculate their paths correctly. Ludo was leading and he took a wrong turn, thinking there was a drop ahead of him. It turns out, there wasn't a drop, just a flat plateau and at that speed and so close to the ground, they can't pull their chutes because there isn't time and elevation. So they ended up crashing into the ground at 150 to 200 mph. The other 2 guys following, died as well.
      When you are flying down a mountain at that speed, there has to be continuous drops in elevation in front of you.

      +OmegaCooperGaming He was doing a jump with 2 other people. They were supposed to be going into a deep gorge, but instead they foud themselves in a flat pasture, and were awfully close to it as well. They didn't have enough time to deploy their parachutes, something like 3 seconds or so. The 2 other people he jumped with died as well, with one dying on the spot and one dying in the hospital. Real tragedy, RIP
