  • Here is a quick video for the Feb. 2015 model year Ford Fusion Titanium Engine Ambient Air Temperature Sensor. It is located on the passenger side lower Grill area closer to the fog lights. This person called me having an issue with the ambient Air Temperature displayed on the instrument cluster I connected my multimeter and got an OL reading from the old sensor up front so I purchased the part which was around $20 plugged it in and temperature was displayed correctly after replacing. Simple & direct. Thank-you. Just needed to know which side of Fusion to focus on after headlight replacement & received amb temp error. Must have not connected it firmly when reinstalling the bumper.

@@marcosramos4596 just seeing this, if it’s fixed, GREAAT!
If not, I would look into an issue with the headlight module or a possible short to ground that is keeping the lights illuminated no matter what the switch position is.
Thanks for watching, I hope that helps

I have a 2013 Ford fusion 2.0 turbo titanium and I can't find where the sensor is, it always has a temperature of 10 degrees even though outside and when I pass puddles or water it drops to minus 40

      @@YgorZombieMan hey there
I’m not certain if it’s in the same location on the 2013 but if it’s the same body style maybe get a second set of hands if you haven’t already to make sure the area is well lit. If I find any other information on it for your vehicle year I will post it back in the comments. Thanks for watching

Do you have to take the bumper off to replace?

Hello, no I didn't have too. You have enough room to get to it without taking it off

This guy in the video took off the front grille, which should be relatively easy to do (I hope lol). It is a little tight to grab it otherwise, I think. The idea of taking out the fog lamp seems too far fetched.... but maybe it is also an option. I looked at the spot and my slender fingers are not slender enough to grab it just like that. So, I am going for the decorative grille.

I need to know how this can be fixed??

Sorry, once you get to where the sensor is located. It should be held in by a clip, work the clip out or use a clip remover if you have it, disconnect the sensor and install in reverse order.

I cant say for certain, but I think that code is for Intake air temperature and that sensor is more ambient (outside) temperature. So I would not replace it for that code
