- This shows the basic set up to film your video using the Nikon D7000 camera. It is very basic and straight forward with a recap at the end that goes through the whole thing very quickly.
Finally a clear video! Thank you so much, this was so much more helpful than the other videos I've seen
Nicely done. Just starting out recording movies. Gave me the basics to use the manual mode on the D7000.
Thanks! Just what I needed.
thank you man!!! it´s a huge help to be living the dream!!
Very nice and concise. Thank you
The "manual movie settings" OFF looks to be the key to solve my issue. Thank you for sharing this information!
Excellent video, exactly what I was looking for! Thank you!
Thanks for posting. The video really helped
Bardzo dobre tłumaczenie Nikona D7000 👍📷📸
Really great video thank you 🙂🙂
thank you so much was very helpful
Best explanation yet I'm a novice so thanks
Muito Obrigada!! thank you so much!!
Thank you so much great video.
Thank you for this great video! How do you adjust the focus smoothly when moving the camera?
Practice your movements. In big movie productions with manual shoots, a separate person can act as a focus puller. Just practice your move beforehand for your shoot and you'll get it.
yes very easy to follow. All i need now is extra lighting
LV is for Live View
Thanks for teaching
Thanks for the tutorial
very helpful mate
THANK YOU SO MUCH
Hey man, how can u turn off face recognition in d7000? I would like to use it on streaming but cant hide the face recognition box. thanks mate
More videos of the nikon d7000 please 🙏🏼
Which lens is best for nikon d7000 in taking videos?
I like the nikon 18-105 mm telephoto lens
Thanks!
Great video. Successful first video ever with this camera! Question- on my D7000 the fStop does not change with the front wheel in LV mode as in video. Seems static/constant display a triangleF0 (zero). Any ideas? Lens currently mounted = DX AF-S Nikor 18-55mm 3.5-5.6G ED
Never mind. Turns out the lens is knackered. Fortunately I have others.
Thank you kindly of 2024.
thanks, great info, much appreciated
Thank you
Please can you help out.... The display info of my D7000 isn't available once I switch to movie mode
thank you
This settings can i apply on D7100?
Some of the stuff you say is not accurate, meaning can be confusing. This has to do with exposure or "lightness and darkness" ISO does not make an image lighter or darker. ISO is not an exposure control, it just indicates film speed. An image at 100 ISO can be light or dark depending on how the aperture and shutter are set, an image at 800 ISO can be light or dark (overexposed or underexposed) depending on how the exposure (aperture and shutter speed) are set.
A great camera without a doubt, however it seems so complicated just to record video. Both my Sony A5000 and my Panasonic G5 are so much easier just turn the camera on, set the white balance and press the record button and you're rolling. I came here to see how easy it is to operate because im considering buying a d7000 i found for less than $200. Is it worth buying? Or should i just use my other 2 cameras? I utilize multiple cameras in my shoots... Thoughts?????
do a lil search and compare them you'll found hella vids talks about the same idea
Nikon's focus has always been photography first before video.
A5000 is sony mirrorless apsc, it should against nikon's apsc mirrorless such as J series
thx
Do the camera hVe built in mic or do you hVe to buy an external mic?
The Nikon D7000 has both an external mic and a 3.5mm external mic jack, but the audio recording quality is not professional quality. After trying an external lapel mic, I am going to order a digital recorder (Tascam or Zoom) and sync the video and audio in post processing.
@@capturemeinpictures i wanna know if i can put a mic and hear the audio from a headphone while recording in the same time?
can you record up to over two or more hours non-stopping? I have been trying to figure it out since I'm doing a 24hr challenge soon.
no, unfortunately - 20 min stinks - like you also cannot change settings like F.stop etc while filming as have to stop and reset for the next clip
From my experience the f/stop will not take effect until you exit out of live mode then back in to live mode.
Turn “manual movie settings” - on. That should allow you to do it in real time.
How can LV stand for 'Live Mode'?? They're two entirely different letters! LV stands for Live View.
can you record up two one hour or two?
Actually LV stands for 'live view', not 'live mode'. Sorry for the correction 😐
Why only 20 min? I want to shoot 1 hr video how can this possible?
Mine doesn’t go lower than f3.8 ??????
Good start video, but you dont show how is working focus/autofocus on it.
1:42 ... LV = Live View
How to pause the Video..
At the risk of stating the obvious…wouldn’t this tutorial benefit from actually shooting some video? A white board doesn’t provide a useful background.
MALUCO TU É BRAAAAAABOOOO !!!!!!!! MAAAAAN YOU ARE SOOOOO FUCKYEEARRRRR !!!!! SAVE FROM BRAZIL !!!
Thank you
Thank you for producing this nice How-To video for the Nikon D7000. I have been using this camera for ten years, but never in video shooting mode. Now that I have a need to produce some clips I was exploring the capabilities of the camera. Your information on the detailed menu settings was valuable. Much appreciated.
