You don't need coding knowledge, and our channel will soon launch a video series with our in-house automation expert to teach small agencies and businesses how to start automating processes! To your question: I don't think you do - what you need is a willingness to learn and keep your eye on tools that allow you to create automations without needing to know code. I've got a beginner video on starting an AIAA here: ruclips.net/video/80BwZzZuvYk/видео.html Marcel himself doesn't have a coding/software background; neither do I nor many other agency owners/tech influencers I know. They either learned it all themselves, or lean on tools like Vendasta, Zapier etc. and use no-code capabilities to automate their business processes.
