This might be a litle outdated to ask, vut what is the difrrence beteen ultimap and ultimap 2, and betwen the ultimap function and the find code function?
How would this work with finding the cause of a closing application? Cheat Engine seems to just lose its place after it closes, doesn't remember any locations or the code
I read this wrong, but attaching a debugger to my target process causes it to crash immediately. I assume this is because the target application has an anti-debugger, but if you are working on something in Cheat Engine, and the process closes, consider yourself fucked
Lmao. Just an FYI, if your "About" section in Cheat Engine says "Your system DOES NOT support DBVM" don't click on that text unless you want an instant BSOD. Whoops.
Is there any way to do this (find function execution, from a button click) with an AMD system? (Maybe using another program?) I am just getting into learning this kind of stuff, to automate game play features, and it would be a lot easier than trying to narrow it down visually.
It is possible with AMD hardware but may not supported by Cheat Engine software. You will have to email Dark Byte if you have questions about supported processors.

U don't need to learn every tm single thing. U only see like 1% of it. Focus in the most important asm opcodes, imo they are: *mov, lea, add, sub, inc, dec, push, pop, all thr jumps, call, mul, div (division is pure hell, avoid it if u can), and the float versions of these, like movss, addss, subss, mulss, divss*
I know it's been a while, and I'm no expert in ASM, but I believe you don't need to know how many lines the function is, in this case. You're gonna be the one to call it. If you mean how many line do you copy into your code, he mainly copied the PUSH instructions that came before the call, to set up the arguments for the functions. You may need to prepare for the call in some other way, in some particular cases, I guess it comes with experience and familiarity with ASM.

I hate this too, I filmed many of these tutorials while I was so sick that I wasn't physically able to do anything else so coincidentally sound pretty bad in more than one. This sort of thing drives me crazy so I'll have to try and make sure the mic isn't picking it up in the future.
