Everyone saying stay out of politics would be singing a different tune if he had other views. Him and Steph have been big on using their platform to spread awareness and are always giving back to the community. Both solid humanitarians.

Roger that! Kerr has better educational creds, aside from having academicians as parents, than his inept critics. Besides, he doesn't need permission. And his DNC speech was by invitation. His words bothered many who were intended to be bothered. Good job, Steve!

There's a traditional rule of thumb..."If you try to blow out someone else's candle, better have more than a dimwit as the alternative!" Lots of dimwits in here trying to knock Steve Kerr, with nothing more than silly noise. Nonstarters, but lots of echo, which emptiness provides.

It's odd with the long NBA season that some of the coaches players still live somewhere else in the offseason, but these jobs don't last forever. Coaches can get fired, players get traded, it makes more sense for them to have their real home in the place they actually want to live after their career is done.

Educationally, you're far more out of your lane than Kerr, about politics. He's far better at it than any commenters here. Steve's undergrad focus was history, sociology, and English, but his father as an academician, with degrees in political science (undergrad) and advanced international studies (Ph.D.). His mother was a high-level university admiinistrator (retired). He had a head start over most people, plus his advanced intelligence. If can have a say, he can have a say--without your permission.

Asking Steve about a speech he gave on national television isn't biased, he's asking Steve about notable things he did this summer. This was certainly a notable thing and would have been asked whether he spoke at the RNC or the DNC.
