@@sueprator9314 I guarantee I have watched more Ws games than you have. No one is running the split-action. These aren't Kerr's sets, but actions that fit into these players.
And guess what Charles Barkley and SAS, he did it without using Tatum all that much. That's the greatness of Steve Kerr, the greatest coach of all time!!
I'll take Gregg Popovich, Red Auerbach, Phil Jackson, Pat Riley, Chuck Daly, and Lenny Wilkins over Kerr any day of the week. They can or could coach circles around Kerr.
@@mvpfocus You can debate success. When the Warriors won 73 games, I don 't believe they won the championship. Kerr won with a team that was already there. Auerbach, Riley, and Popovich all built championship teams from scratch. When Kerr can build a team from scratch like those three did, then I'll give him his due. I'll still take the coaches I listed over Kerr and I'll win more than you will with him.
@@mvpfocus Oh yes I will. Did Kerr build that team from scratch? No. May I also remind you that when he won those 73 games, they did not win the championship. There is quote that goes, to the effect, when you lose in the championship round, you are no better than the teams that didn't get there. When the Bulls won 72 games, they won the championship. When the Lakers won 69 games, they won the championship. When Kerr can do what Auerbach (Who built three championship era's, in the 1960's, 70's, and 80's that won at least two championships in each of those era's) Riley, and Popovich did, I'll be more than willing to give him his due.
@@mvpfocus Everything seems to be a "false premise" if you don't agree. The FACT of the matter is that the Warriors did NOT win the championship after winning the most regular season games. Not a so-called "fluke", but a FACT. No matter you try to sugar coat it, it is a FACT. I hate to be the one to inform you of this but, the great Steve Kerr is the ONLY coach in NBA history to blow a 3-1 lead in the NBA Finals (I can't wait to hear your excuses for that!!!). I also hate to be the one to inform you of this as well, but that was the year the Warriors won 73 games. Toronto's NBA title doesn't have the word "Fluke" next to it. As far as scratch is concerned, it can be considered an expansion team. But it can also mean building a team that is rock bottom and then is built into a champion. You could make the argument that Pat Riley built an expansion team in the Miami Heat into a champion, though he wasn't there from Day One. As far as Kerr being this so-called "great coach and basketball mind", let him do what Red Auerbach did in Boston, let him do what Riley has done in Miami, and let him do what Gregg Popovich has done in San Antonio, that is build championship teams and then come back to me. L.O.L.!!

We some brother for the rest of my life , congrats.
I challenge anyone saying the 92 was better to go on YT and watch any of their games and seeing the lackluster competition say that team was significantly better than this team is a liar.
The 1992 team was intimidating. The game was won before the initial jump ball. It was the foundation of the the 3 players that made the NBA and basketball what it is today. Magic-Bird-Jordan
Kerr noted the struggle and efforts of Steph Curry in getting back his shooting. Good enough he got his shots started rolling in during the last 2 critical games. It took him a lot of time to get used to the MOLTEN ball (as contrast to the SPALDING the NBA uses), but got the hang of it at the right time.
"The world has gotten so good in basketball since then..." that is the legacy of the Dream Teams 92' show at the Barcelona Olympics. This fueled a massive hype globally I assume, but for Europe I'm Sure because I experienced it myself. I got into BB because of it and the aftermath with tons of BB stuff swapping over, broadcasting NBA, NBA shows, cards, magazines, gear, streetball events in literally every village...plus, despite being negative in its roots, because of the yugoslavian wars, many fine BB players from there came to Europe teaching New styles of play and practice. But if it wasn't for MJ, Magic, Charles, Drex and these folks, BB would not have come to that competitive level, the US has to face now (and forever I guess 😉)
RUDE to say that. HE NEVER JUST SITS BACK AND ALLOWS THE TALENT TO DOMINATE. HE IS A FORMER PLAYER AND HOLDS 9 CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS AS A PLAYER AND COACH. SHOW SOME RESPECT.

@@sueprator9314 6 finals
@@sueprator9314 I guarantee I have watched more Ws games than you have.
No one is running the split-action. These aren't Kerr's sets, but actions that fit into these players.
Mark Jackson failed at it
Suns are gonna be dangerous next season. Kerr, Steph and LeBron have taught Booker how to win.
And Spo. And Tye Lu
@@andrewj1754 Yes! That’s true.
They mocked you hated on you. All you did was go undefeated and bring home gold. Way to go, coach! 🇺🇸🥇💯
I will forever be Steph fan
appreciate also defense of AD and Bam
AD was a monster on defense!
"Avengers Assemble"! The elder sraremen won this Olympic tournament for the USA Basketball. The rest of the world is catching up! Thank you Team USA for an outstanding tourney! We will never see a greater collection of talent ever! Gold Medal for USA Men's Basketball!
What are sraremen?
Coach Kerr has been in the unenviable position of coaching ALL OF OUR FAVORITE PLAYERS. With all the possible successes and failures, I'm stoked to have had him as Coach of the greatest assemblage of basketball players in the World. USAB Gold Again!
Carried by Curry and MJ sure can help you win alot lol Kerr a joke and an idiot as well.
@@PennyFitzgeraldFan If he's a joke and an idiot, then so are you, because your line about Curry and MJ is exactly what he says, too.
Hello, i'm french form Paris. Congratulation for the golden Medal? My dream is to have a another final France USA at Los Angeles 2028 and win to change the story, it's a very hard challenge for Team France. But i love USA your the best team Steph Curry was awsesome. We some brother for the rest of my life , congrats.
He made the right coaching call not playing Jaysoon Taintum much.
Wow Steve Kerr is getting so much older, man what a legend
Respect 🎉
Congrats coach ❤👍🏼
Coach Kerr! Way to handle the pressure.
Coach got a lot of flack these Olympics from the media, but he’s a generational coach and a legend 🇺🇸🏀🥇🥳
Congrats USA❤
Where are all the folks who were throwing shade at Steve Kerr??🤔🤨
Still here😂 TF? There was no clear adjustment he made that put them over the top. We just stacked😂
Curry jacking up impossible 3s to save the game wasn't from coaching lol
@@isaiahthomas4444With the basketball IQ you have on the floor with Bron, Steph, KD you don't need to do much
@@isaiahthomas4444 no adjustments was the right move tho, obviously
What are they gonna say now????
The smiles of the coaching staff when Team USA was getting their medals says it all.
Y’all couldn’t have made king Steve look any older in the thumbnail, thanks espn
Good job, coach Kerr.

Steve Kerr must be loving Steph so much right now.
the sameway Phil loved MJ when they won
Congrats Coach!
Steve Kerr for president!
Congratulations
GOLD ACCOMPLISHED
I challenge anyone saying the 92 was better to go on YT and watch any of their games and seeing the lackluster competition say that team was significantly better than this team is a liar.
The 1992 team was intimidating.
The game was won before the initial jump ball.
It was the foundation of the the 3 players that made the NBA and basketball what it is today.

Thanks.

Kerr Feeling Like Phil Jackson did thru the 90s & Early 00s just being able to sit back & let the talent dominate 😂
Phil is way way beyond Kerr.
Like for real ain't no coaching Greatness Curry was absolutely astonishing KD was a killer and Bron was Captain America 💪🏿😤
RUDE to say that. HE NEVER JUST SITS BACK AND ALLOWS THE TALENT TO DOMINATE. HE IS A FORMER PLAYER AND HOLDS 9 CHAMPIONSHIP RINGS AS A PLAYER AND COACH. SHOW SOME RESPECT.
