      Yeah it was pretty wild to see KD and Lebron wide open and France knowing that they didn't matter in that moment was a reflection of just how great Curry is. Im an American who likes politics so naturally I know how awesome we are. But we forget here because we get tunnel visioned. Never forget how badass America is. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're unamerican and most likely have their own agenda.

      I literally had the same thought.
      Steph and KD are who they are
      Book was Klay, tireless defense, spot up shooting, generate offense when needed
      LeBron is Draymond on super steroids. Playing the point forward, allowing Steph to play off ball, creating space for the others.
      Then you have Jrue in that Iggy spot, defense, plugging holes, a three every now and then, reminding the opposition that he is also spreading the floor

    Im a huge curry fan and as great as curry is, I hope people realise how much that depends on the coach. The way he played earlier in the tournament and the way he turns over the ball at times (particularly that last play of the third quarter) anyone else would have just benched him, but Kerr kept believing in him and allowed him to be out there.

      Kerr ran every play for curry to begin the Serbia game to get his struggling star going. Nobody else ate and that means nobody else could get in rhythm and that lead to weaker effort on defense. That caused them to go down. Kerr almost cost them the gold.

    • @FFLounge
      @FFLounge 5 месяцев назад +1

      I completely agree with that. I truly believe if Steph had less playing time in the Serbia game, it would not have been so close. Serbia is a team they should have dominated athletically.

Paris Olympics Gold Medal Game ending, Steph hits 4 threes to hold off France. Paris Olympics Semifinals, Steph versus Serbia. And 1998 NBA Finals, the final sequence from Jordan stealing the ball from Malone and then hitting the winning bucket.

    Yup, you don't get that good and stay that good without practicing shooting every day 365 days a year. There may be 3 or 4 days in a year you don't practice but these guys would practice twice as long the next day to make it up and stay sharp year round. Larry Bird wore out the discs in his spine from practicing so much on his shot like a maniac. Whatever shots Curry makes in a game he has made them thousands of time in practice.
