Great idea for a remix. Definitely works. A couple thoughts: try toning down the beat to match with the Sakamoto track, ie. pull back the highs a bit, add some lofi fx to give it a grittier feel, like the original. Also, there's a couple sync issues at the beginning, but they smooth out. Nice work!
