    Gornji grad (eng. Upper Town).
In 1908, Austria-Hungary annexed the occupied Bosnia and Herzegovina and then Bosnian Serb Gavrilo Princip has assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Not the way around. WWI started at that exact point where you was talking about when Austria on 28 July 1914. began shelling Belgrade from acroos the river Sava.

There’s a Military museum not too far from the place where you found all those tanks and artillery. I believe those are all the weapons they were left behind in Belgrade during many conflicts in its history.

Oh another piece of information, if you go towards Ružica church in Kalemegdan, and go thru Zindan gate (thru the two towers), and then bare to the right (Ružica church would be to the left from there), when you look at the fortress wall on that side, the first layer (base of the wall) is black and that piece of the fortress is from the Roman era. White rock is from the Ottoman era and before, and red brick is from the Austria-Hungarian rule.
