How to travel from Istanbul Airport to Sabiha Gokcen Airport by metro for just $4
In this video I travel from Russia to Switzerland via Turkey. I fly from Samara Kurumoch Airport (KUF) to Istanbul Airport (IST). Then, I travel by underground and ferry to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Overall, it takes 3.5 hours and I pay only 100 TL ($3.33). I think you will not need to purchase Istanbulkart anymore (it costs 70 TL / $2.30 as of 15.01.2024). If you have a Mastercard just touc...

Is there a video on how and where to get the Istanbul card in the airport as well as how to find the bus. Ill have a shorter connection, so hoped to hop on the shuttle bus straight to SAW airport
🍀
The Gayrettepe station of the Istanbul airport line has been opened. You can take the M2 from there.

You can go to Kadıköy under the sea with Marmaray.
Just discovered your channel and so glad that I watched it. So crisp and clear and everything covered. Thanks for doing it. You're just starting your YT life, and I believe it will be a great one. Good Luck Brother
You supposed to use Metrobus line from Mecidiyeköy to Uzuncayır station. If it is not rush hour metrobus is pretty convenient.
M - metro U - underground
Important update: The U1/M11 metro from the Airport has been extended to Gayrettepe, which enables passengers to directly transfer to the M2 line to Taksim and beyond, as well as the Metrobus. No need to exit in Kagithane anymore, unless you want to reach destinations along the M7 line.

awesome sharing! talk to you soon. :)
You missed the Canadian contingent from Alberta, probably Calgary. Right after the Australians.
Hi Donna. Indeed, Canadians were right behind Ozzies. Please watch from 12:55

Temple or Hram is equivalent to Cathedral, which is derived from Greek Catholicos. so it's Hram. cheers.
The style is called socialist brutalism
There’s a Military museum not too far from the place where you found all those tanks and artillery. I believe those are all the weapons they were left behind in Belgrade during many conflicts in its history.
Oh another piece of information, if you go towards Ružica church in Kalemegdan, and go thru Zindan gate (thru the two towers), and then bare to the right (Ružica church would be to the left from there), when you look at the fortress wall on that side, the first layer (base of the wall) is black and that piece of the fortress is from the Roman era. White rock is from the Ottoman era and before, and red brick is from the Austria-Hungarian rule.
Serbs and Russians are brothers ❤❤❤
Jaka braća u p.m.
There is much of that type of brutalist architecture in the UK too! And it is becoming more popular & appreciated these days.
Of course there is a bond. Two criminal cartels supporting one another.
Yeah, as opposed to supporting a third criminal cartel 🤡
Yes we are same as your criminal country 😊
Nothing "soviet" about New Belgrade. We were never part of the USSR.
Serbs love the Russian brothers and will always remain so, and we are forever grateful to the Holy Russian Emperor Nicholas II Romanov for his support in one of the most difficult moments that Serbia ever had. One piece of information is that Belgrade was the last capital in Europe to which the Soviet ambassador came. Long after the collapse of the Russian Empire, the Russian Imperial Army fled to Serbia and had an official position in Serbia. You can visit the grave of Baron-General Peter Nikolayevich Wrangel in the Russian church next to the Church of St. Mark .The Serbian people loved the powerful Russian Orthodox Empire and Moscow as the third Rome as they love modern Russia today
It is not true that the royal family was killed as we were taught... they all survived, and some members lived in Serbia for the rest of their lives (Palic, Bela Crkva), that's why they have monuments here... and the graves are there somewhere...
9:07 This area has been named after the hotel London built there 150 years ago.
far more interesting than Los Angeles that i have just watched here you have proper buildings that tuck crafts people to build. there is history here.
We were never part of Soviet World. Architecture of New Belgrade, is best described with two terms, Brutalism and Blocks. Brutalism was inspired by the famous French Modernist architect Le Corbusier and the name comes from the French term béton-brut (“raw concrete”). Therefore it cannot be called "soviet" architecture. Air Serbia (ex JAT) have never had a soviet airplanes. Not even one. After WWII they started with three Douglas C-47 Skytrains and three Junkers Ju 52's followed by Sud Aviation Caravelle's, Douglas DC-9s, and Boeing 707s. During the early 1970s, the first two of nine Boeing 727s arrived and were replaced with the McDonnell Douglas DC-10-30. After came Boeing and Airbus.

The Orthodox Church does not have cathedrals, they ave Temples. You visited the Temple of Saint Sava. In Serbia, Church icons are painted. The mosaics in the Saint Sava Temple were made in Russia. There is another famous Church in the town of Oplenac which also has icons in mosaic form. That Church was built in the 1920s and its mosaics were made by Russians who fled the Bolshevik Revolution.
It wasn't made in Russia but by Russian artists.
My friend, you missed the crypt in St Sava Church, which is downstairs. You need to go back and see the crypt...
Yeah, I’m sure getting getting bombed over and over again by the Western fascists/“friends” helps Serbia “develop”. Depleted uranium and cluster bombs are especially advantageous 🙄 Please don’t comment on Serbia.

There are many small connections, like count Vronski(famous officer from Ana Karenina) who died in Serbian uprising as a volunteer. But you missed to mention one major connection, Russian white emigration, thousands of "white" Russians fled to Serbia and many of them left a deep impact on Serbia, in medicine, culture, architecture etc... And general Vrangel is resting in Belgrade in Holy Trinity Church.

Gornji grad (eng. Upper Town). In 1908, Austria-Hungary annexed the occupied Bosnia and Herzegovina and then Bosnian Serb Gavrilo Princip has assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand. Not the way around. WWI started at that exact point where you was talking about when Austria on 28 July 1914. began shelling Belgrade from acroos the river Sava.
Serbia had a king almost 1000 years ago. And it had one Tzar as well.
