Can You Beat Fallout New Vegas’s Lonesome Road Without Taking Any Damage? (in text form)
I then left Doc Mitchell’s house, made The Reunion my active quest to have a waypoint, and made my way to the Canyon Wreckage. I stood there for a moment, thinking about what kind of nightmarish [boop]storm I was about to walk into, I p[rear]ed through the wreckage, and took my first look at The Divide. I found the Hopeville Silo Bunker Entrance, tried to open the blast doors, failed, looted a few ammo crates, found an Arc Welder, and activated ED-E who has an [rear]ortment of memories inside him which sometimes inhibit his ability to be useful. I used him to activate an Automated Commissary that unfortunately didn’t have any useful weapons, but it did have a [flip]-ton of ammo available, so I sold my armor and healing items to buy some ammo that I thought might find a use for some time down the road, as well as some that I could use now.
After ED-E activated the blast doors and I restored the power, I saw a few of ED-E’s brothers, wandered around the missile for a bit, and got into combat for the first time. You know you’re in for a bad time when the first enemy you find is a Sentry Bot. I used quote a few rifle grenades on it then let ED-E do the rest of the work for me. A few Marked Men and a dead Sentry Bot were just up ahead. Something pinned a Marked Man to a wall by pushing a steel rod through both the Marked Man and the steel wall it was pinned too. Another bad sign.
I managed to take out another Sentry Bot all by myself, I p[rear]ed through some sort of an office, and Opened the Silo’s Bunker Doors. That was a mistake, because 4 or 5 Sentry Bots came online and dispatched of ED-E in seconds. I may or may not have had a hand in that by blasting him with a grenade or two. Either way, ED-E was down and out and I found myself trapped in a corner with multiple Sentry Bots between me and the rest of the Divide. I can guarantee that if it weren’t for that grenade rifle, there was no way I’d have been able to get p[rear]ed them. I was able to pop out from behind cover, shoot a grenade, and retreat before any of them could hit me. There were still two turrets left, and I had already gone through almost half of my grenades, but the Sentry Bots had been returned to their endless slumber.
I used the same tactic I used in my Companion Only video by backtracking through the Silo and exiting through the entrance to revive ED-E. The turrets were less of a threat than I thought they’d be, I looted all the mechanical corpses, went outside to Hopeville, and had a conversation with Ulysses for the the first time. He provided me with some backstory about myself, spoke dramatically about things that have transpired and events still have yet to take place, and explained that the Divide may prove to be the end of the line for me.
The small upside about Lonesome Road is that it’s fairly linear, your objective is pretty much to just put through the Divide by whatever means necessary until you reach Ulysses. The 2nd part of that linear path takes us through Hopeville, where there are quite a few Marked Men. They have high-powered weaponry and are pretty accurate, not that the weapons they carry matter all that much. It doesn’t matter if it’s an anti-material rifle or a nerf gun, the bullets [incapacitate] me instantly.

One thing no one seems to remember: Deathclaw skulls are armored. Their bellies are their weak spot.

@xVx_Strider_xVx it is, but I found in FO4 it was most effective to shoot them in the legs. They cripple quite easily, and then you can finish them without much danger.
@xVx_Strider_xVx It was a welcome addition to FO4. I always cheesed deathclaws in NV from positions they couldn't get to, or simply ran around obstacles like cars while shooting them.
I remember my plan for all deathclaws in fallout 3
Put about 4 to 6 mines in one place and back away lining the deathclaw with you and the mines and draw his attention . Easiest way to cripple them and chip on them with any gun you have while backing away from it

I played Lonesome Road at level 15. I said “I’ll be fine” and then just went in. Needless to say, I was not fine.
I started at level 7
I was level 9 I believe. I didn’t know what dlcs were and thought I was just doing a normal quest at first. My brother was really surprised when I beat it without really knowing what I was doing.
I did it at 30 aswell but I was aware beforehand that I'd need ammo.
I went into the final battle with Ulysses with a 10mm with 18 rounds because that's all I had left.
I went in right at the beginning, never got past the sentry bots
My first time playing new vegas i decided to do all DLC after the game ended ,but because i found out you cant continue after the ending i did all the DLC right before the battle of hoover dam

Me, who started the DLC at level 40-something with the "True Mortal" reputation while remaining neutral with both NCR and Legion and did all of the other DLC's before even entering New Vegas: "Oh... That explains it."
You can also convince him to stand down by finding all 8 of his holotapes in the divide.

Only goal is to finish yes man quest line, (yes man respawns when you kill him, that way you can't fail the game.) but you have to kill literally everyone you come across. Every town you enter, you must exterminate before you leave. You can shop and talk with people, but you must kill them before moving on.
JazzyJ i dont think this is possible... to complete the game doing this. youd have no side Quest or any main quest if everyone died...

I truly think lonesome road is the most terrifying place in the wasteland this being because it completely throws you out of the norm, put yourself in your dwellers shoes: you survived the Hoover dam battle and many other stuff and your going to the next area. Dusty silent and alone is all you feel rather unnerving….go around and if you din’t find you way or take a wrong step….off the cliff with ye and the quickest death, death could serve and assuming you survived and get through the blast doors some how. It’s more than likely it’s empty and just random stuff. Hopeville is hell if you even make up there. It really throws you out of your usual feel and that’s what makes lonesome road terrifying to me.
The hardest challenge I can think of, beating Mothership Zeta (Fallout 3 dlc) without taking damage. Keep up the good work

My first encounter with the tunnelers was in the collapsed overpass; first, I found Bravo patrol, and everyone was dead. Then, I found a dead Deathclaw and I was like: "I don't know what I should be more afraid of, the fact that there is a Deathclaw here, or the fact that it's already dead..."

Uh yes you can as paintrain perk gets rather op as it will destroy weak enemies in seconds let alone you just need the jetpack to jump on foes
well he did full on pacifist, so it would be kinda the same except you can kill, in a very specific way, yes, but still.
FlauntingFloof the way pain train works is it makes running do damage and unless i am wrong it should increase the damage from landing by some percentage and with jetpack makes it a good way to deal damage compared to relying on sprinting

Having done a level 1 lonesome road run, I can tell you that cycling through flare gun into nailgun is the only way I could beat tunnelers and deathclaws

I've never been able to beat it taking as much damage as I want. I can get to the end, but Ulysses just kicks my ass. It's the only part of Fallout 3/4/Vegas I haven't been able to beat. To be fair, I haven't tried it that many times because a couple of massive failures was all I could take.

You cannot. When you step into the beam to over-charge it your shield drains to nothing

Can you beat a Bethesda game on the hardest difficulty (bonus if you do dlc) but everytime you take damage you must permanently remove a hit.
The other one is can you beat a fallout game with out missing a single bullet. If you miss a bullet you must reload a save from a hour before.

i love whatever word replacer the captions are using because it replaces curse words even if they’re in the middle of another word. instead of “passed” it’s “p[rear]ed”

Beat fallout 4 without spending perk points (you can level up but not spend the skill point and just use the starting skill points)

I can assure you that you can in fact beat BL2 with just a Norfleet.

Fable 2 maybe a hard one due to puzzles that need you to shoot them or use spells
If you're not including Fable 2's puzzles, even then, no. There's trolls and giant crystals that need to be be shot at with a gun or spell.
Borderlands two with only a rocket launcher, no, because you start with a pistol and have to kill bullymongs. Unless he is able to do true vault hunter mode, its a no.
