I'm so inspired. Now if I could just make trestle saw horses that nice I'd be on my way to being almost able to partially master "one" joint per year to this level. This is a level above the level of work most mere mortals could even come close to accomplishing. Whom ever commissions your work somehow did not pay you enough no matter the fee.
The sliding table and tenon saws really are...... special.
But the work, just watching the concentration to evaluate the timber, before an ounce of glue is applied. Masterful, Masterful.

At the risk of being corny, this is what it must be like if poetry can be viewed. Just plain and simple amazing craftsmanship! No "What's up, guys!" No lame pathetic jokes! I sometimes think that most "build" videos are posted because people love to hear their own voice. And they're mostly americans!

This may be my favorite piece that you've posted. Walnut is a rich and warm wood so the thick top with a square edge profile has a simple beauty and a commanding presence. The trestle style is inherently a bit rustic, but the sharp lines and tapers are quite modern in feel. The contrasting wedges in the cross-member's tenons are a perfect touch - subtlety decorative without being ornamental. I love everything about the design and execution of this piece. Thank you for sharing.
