Those kind of solos are that ruins the original flow and wibe of cool tracks. Hate them. And overall they mostly failed here to deliver the melody.

@@SandroUNDEAD They totally kept the original groove, the guitar does a perfect job deliviering the melody. The improvisations blend seemlessly into that groove and give it a new touch. That's why I totally disagree. Not only did they create something new (which is the goal of every good cover), they stuck close enough to the original at the necsessary points to deliver its spirit.
An adaptation of the Act 2 arrangment and the hammond organ like sound in the middle part would have been nice, tough.

Most underrated jazz group ever, period. Even if you are not a gamer, you cannot deny the level of skill, energy, and overall fun in their music. 11/10 definitely not bad AT ALL
this bass line is SO tight. it's too bad they couldn't get a manual player to play it live on a fretless. but it's also pretty fire to see the synth pulling it off with his left hand and basically never missing a beat for 6 minutes straight.
You guys killed it harder than that one boss in Oil Ocean zone.
I love jazz and this is probably in the top 5 sax solos I have ever heard. My mind is blown. All around amazing job by everyone involved, further proving that video games are indeed art. You guys are beyond incredible.
I agree. I love how they took a techno-theme piece and rendered it into a New Orleans Jazz fit for Mardi Gras. Perfectly done.

How many times have I listened to this in the last week or so? I've been trying to watch all of your shows, but I just keep coming back to this song. It has everything that makes an SSB track great: a smart arrangement, an epic rendition of music from one of a wide array of classic games, and several positively face-melting solos. Most impressive.

Super Soul Bros. Please come to Liverpool. Every pub and bar has a band or musician playing every night. It's such a musical city. And I go see funk/jazz bands at a few bars who exclusively do music like that
Super Soul Bros. One thing that always has international bands from all over, Japan, Mexico, Brazil, Sweden, etc. Is beatle week. Yeah 85% of the bands are beatles cover bands (the other 15% is rolling stones or the who or the kinks etc). But a lot of the bands cover the beatles in their own way. Like one bands does punk covers. Your amazing musicianship would be super popular if you did a jazz funk cover of beatles songs like you do with game music. This is just a suggestion, it's a bit out of left field so I obviously expect you to not want to do that lol. But just an idea

I am so glad that I found out about Super Soul Brothers. Here's hoping that they do some Fire Emblem Gaided/Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia. Hearing them tackle more non-Nintendo stuff would also be pretty awesome.
