Dovonan, Scottish musician, songwriter and record producer, has a very beautiful composition with very peculiar lyrics called Wear Your Love Like Heaven.
really love your channel, am discovering new song that i never know existed or wouldnt even click on the video, like they never judge a book by there cover,, keep it coming my playliste is getting better and better😊❤
The best incarnation of Uriah Heep. David Byron, Gary Thain, Lee Kerslake and Ken Hensley RIP. Guitarist Mick Box are the only man standing from back then
Just noticed this so I subscribed. Loved this band since 1970 at high school Saw them live in Glasgow in 1971 and regularly up to 1975. David Byron one of rock's greatest voices.
In my opinion This Is There Best Song but they have a few other songs that are Really Good As Well 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 My question is will they Ever be Inducted into the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame ????
I remember when this aired, I never missed a midnight special love the show wish they had another show just like this or replaying all of them on some channel
Stationed in England for a total of 14 years saw Uriah Heep many times in London at the Hammersmith Odeon. Don’t think the Hammersmith audience open anymore
This song and "Hush" is my 2 favorite Uriah Heep songs of all times. Try to keep up these Midnight Special episodes going... They bring back great memories for this 60+ year old "hippie". 😁
If you want to see some great performances from tv shows, go look up "The Old Grey Whistle Test" videos when it was hosted by "whispering Bob Harris", who by the way now has the OBE (Order of the British Empire).
Love your content. Great reviews especially Kid Charlemagne. I have a request, Stargazer off the Rainbow Rising Album. It’s from 1978 right at the beginning of metal.
In the late 80s some older co workers mentioned some music I would probably like. I "ordered their greatest hits from "Columbia House" music club.... and felt cool about it 😎 Stealing was my favorite! Take care, be good!
Luther Allison - "Serious" 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 ruclips.net/video/XRW5wvf5BiI/видео.htmlsi=akkDF5aqXF4lzHHs Luther Allison is a blues legend who ranks right up there with BB King and Buddy Guy.
Not one of David Byron's best vocals performances, unfortunately, and even keyboardist Ken Hensley stepping up to the plate to almost sing co-lead vocals couldn't save it. I think David Byron was really on something that night.
Really an underappreciated group. One of my favorites of the early 70s. What a great blast from the past. 8-track heaven.
Reminds me of the time we played basketball jones on 78 speed man…. Whew!
Uriah Heap, one of the great unsung bands from that era, one of my favorite tunes...
Uriah Heep gave a great Arena performance . I'm 67, still got the 2 Uriah H. albums I bought in the 70's
Jamel, so glad you are back with good music, was at their concert in 1971, amazing band !
Gary Thain was a super talented bassist. He was hitting it perfectly live. Heroine was unfortunately his demise.
heroin*... a heroine is a female hero
One of the biggest bands in the World from 72' to about 75"!
Dovonan, Scottish musician, songwriter and record producer, has a very beautiful composition with very peculiar lyrics called Wear Your Love Like Heaven.
This is my favorite song of theirs.
New Zealand's greatest export .. The great Gary Thain on bass
It was awesome live back in the day as well.
love Heep. Parents took me and my brother to see them; we were all mad about them. I was 15! They were great.

I feel Uriah Heap is one of the earliest true rock bands, I have every album and I think Sweet Lorraine or Sunrise would have to be my favorite songs.
My favorite Heep song!
The Heep played first at IA State Homecoming followed by Lynard Skynard, concept I'll always remember, I'm 65

Easy Livin is another great song from Uriah Heap.

Uriah Heep is seriously underrated…
Always loved this song.

I remember "Hush" by Deep Purple. Did WA cover DP? Or different song same title?
Used to watch The midnight special every time it came on
Not a huge Heep fan, but I saw them live in 75 when I was still 14 & I always liked this song..
Some of the greatest prog rock ever and of the day...
We all wore platform shoes back then. Some were very high
Saw them open for Jethro Tull, 79 I think. MSG and the Spectrum.
First concert I went to. High school 1975.
"Easy Livin'" by Uriah Heep
Christ...they are hammered.
Circle of Hands
You are the best. Love your message too. Keep it up.

Saw then live in '75 !
76, Wembley Arena London, aged 15. Amazing gig.
I would love to the hear the details behind that 'ha ha' after talks about the rancher's daughter.

The fad for some men was 4 inch heeled boots in the seventies. Especially in the rock scene. haha! It was funny but they looked with the bells.
I liked your Baby Boomer video too! We did stay outside until the streetlights came on and we had great music!
Best ever song of Heep... The bass is everything
PS: not their best rendition here.
Uriah Heep July Morning
Great band so sad only Mick Box (guitar) left
It's nice to see when bands didn't lip synch.
CHRIS CORNELL - CALL ME A DOG

Uriah Heep is still going strong unfortunately only Mick Box(the guitarist) is alive.

By this point, the band were overworked and Byron was often on the sauce.

I think Ken screwed up here. He seems to have problems with his throat. Byron sings OK, though he seems to be drunk.
Check out Saxon the eagle has landed
Great music. Sadly Mick Box is the only surviving original member of Uriah Heep.
cant beat Heap, have a listen to come away Malinda by them
Demons and wizards
Comments on your Baby Boomer video are turned off. Just letting you know.
Байрон бухой в стельку!

Check out AC⚡DC Sin City on the Midnight Special.
