Ladies and Gents, We're seeing the birth of a trend. The bald spot poking through the bandana. I'm expecting it to be as big as the whole pants under the arse thing! Great to have you guys back. Missed you.
been watching you rebuild this thing, few things I noticed one.. your area you live is my home town it looks like and I know the high lakes very well and the end of the video you were driving down into that town! I actually just bought an fj40 72.. but mine has been messed in many places so im going to do an ls swap or maybe a 3rz Toyota motor. I visit often up there maybe ill see you around not like there are many people left... and we will have to go up the the lakes once mine is done.. will be a bit body and frame are about to get torn apart.
Life has gotten busy and haven’t been watching your videos for a while. Glad to see you’re back and still sweating your a$$ off. California weather huh!
That one isn’t actually correct, it was a wrong thread and I ended up having to use a bunch of thread tape… the rivnut style fuel mount was an eBay purchase.
...for Rachael's safety, can you please have a brake expert double check your brake install? I think it was about 20 years ago when you did that disc brake conversion, and at the time it looked pretty sketchy to me, not sure if you went back and re-engineered it? Now that you have some more gearheads, please get another pair of eyes or more to look it over before you take that beast for a drive.
Been driving it for months now. Including some freeway trips for over 50 miles. Lots of around town, stopping and going… zero issues. But, for safety’s sake I’ll look into at again.
@@lazlosfj40garage58 i want to say stock is 16.4 gal and the new poly tanks are only 12.5.. so you loose a bit... with the 2f its nice to have the extra 4 gals lol

We’re good, just needed to take a step back. Have new episodes on the way.
I keep looking for the knife from your old leaf spring. Did I miss it. Such a cool idea. I want to see how it turned out.
I posted a pic on Instagram, but I’ll get a video of it up.
In standard wrongway fashion, I measured this once and I’m gonna cut it right here. *finds out it goes to the other side 🤣 love you cuz!!
Thanks Cuz.
whats going on with the 60? thanks for the update keep up the good work.
Coming with more, had to take a break.
Could you possibly tell me where you got the adapter bolt that connects to the fuel tank? Thank you.
The one I drilled into the tank?
@@projectwrongway9127 sorry, the one at the bottom of the tank on the fill fitting.

Hey man, I'd love to see more of this cruiser. Do you have a build thread on Mud?
A lot of the posts are on instagram, not too much on mud. I’ll bring some more footage on board soon.
@@projectwrongway9127 , Cool. I don't do social media but your rig is an inspiration for my 72.
Inspiration is the goal bro, showing how a basic simpleton can figure stuff out should give anyone a slice of confidence.
What tank adapter and fuel fittings are you using?
You still need this info, I believe I put it in the video description but I’ll need to check.
Yes please I need that information also.
I miss Gertrude
8 months since last vid? you guys going to get going again?
We’re back.
What’s up with no current videos???
Took a breather, but we’re firing back up.

I had to remove my stock fuel tank because of years of abuse and neglect... there is a plastic one now
less capacity though.
