This is FAVORITE VIDEO EVER. After a 4 year rebuild I did on my fj40.. I can commensurate with this experience and it's reassuring it not just me!!!!!!
Starting my 75 FJ40 install a few days ago…. Waiting on the coolant sensor adapter for the top of the head. I can visualize every step of what you’ve done now by just gazing into the engine compartment. By the way, that little 3/8” drive Milwaukee impact gun came in real handy for pulling the fuel tank. Using an in-tank Mosley pump. Great enjoyable video my west coast inspiration friend
He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord. Pro 18:22. While I enjoyed every minute of this episode, Rachel's absence was noticed. You two make a great team. Keep it up man! You're getting there!!!
Righty Tighty Lefty Loosy LOL .. I was praying you didn't strip it the whole time 😂 Great Episode.. I learned that the 1F intake manifold works on 2f 🙌🏼
Ha, she's helping if anything. I did more research than usual with this install and it shows... but Rachael is probably what has kept me out of the hospital so far. She's my partner on this!
You should check out installing riv nuts with just a bolt that fits it and a larger nut around it and 2 wrenches. One tightening the bolt to compress it and one on the large nut to keep it straight. It is easier to get them in tighter places and keeps them straight.
He is clearly an empty shell of a man without you. And, there was an alarming amount of elephant noises in this episode. Please come back soon and help restore some decorum.
Not sure if that’s a one wire or two wire sensor, but don’t put plumbers tape on one wire sensors, they Earth to the block through the threads ;) That was the drain bung for the block, located at the bottom, which is why it still had coolant in it
After over a year of watching you say “lefty loosey, righty tighty” and flail, I will offer what fixed it for me. Clockwise drives forward, counter clockwise is reverse.
Glad you started on the Sniper install for me to watch and learn. I literally LOL when you dropped the gasket! BTW, where would a man find one of those O2 sensor pre-drilled flanges?
The O2 sensor I used came with the kit from Mosley. I stopped by an exhaust shop when I got the header and had them weld on a "bung" for me. Totally glad I did that.
Quick question, the install of temp sensor, has it leaked at all? I was just informed those threads are not NPT but British Pipe Thread, very close on pitch but not 3/8 NPT. There is an adapter for the head and the sensor on redline cruisers.
Hello big fan of your videos I just had a question about your cruiser. Does it have the 1F or 2F? I’ve got a 74 with the 1F and just ordered the Holley Sniper kit and I was wondering if you did have the 1F was the kit from Mosley complete? I’ve seen on Red line where they sell the cleaner group adapter for the 1F that mounts to the sniper.

It’s nice to know I’m not alone.
I kept yelling at the screen, you’re tightening it! Lol
Lots of people yell at the screen
Dude! You just drilled 3 holes right in the part of the cruiser chassis where they always crack!
Might need to weld up some support there...
Great video! Love the humor mixed in! Gasket drop was great...I'm there with ya.
Glad to have you! It’s good to show the struggles.

The Milwaukee is a game changer, lovely little tool.
Love the Aussie number plates in the background.
It’s one of my favorite places.
Same, wouldn't catch me living anywhere else.
Dude, Thanks for being real. It is great to see a real install
More videos coming man.

I needed her, but she's back now.

Stripping that would have sucked giant donkey nuts.
When that gasket fell into the sand, I burst out laughing. Sounds exactly like I do when something like that happens.
Jam side down. Every damn time.
Going full Tom Hanks in Cast Away!!! classic
She fills the void.
Ben, I too had to remove a pull knob on my cruiser and yes you will probably damage the paint... like I did... again and again...
I got a little too frustrated with that.
Thinking of going for the howell tbi EFI kit, but Im sure this will help in my install! Thanks
I’ve enjoyed the sniper, but I imagine each one has its benefits. Good luck with it man.
You need a head cam for you solo shoots! Nice start to your Sniper!
Tummy cam wasn't working for ya hahaha?
Love the Mike Tyson warrior grease smudge! Keep at it, excited to see the wiring and fuel delivery portion.
Next episode is up, but the "real" wiring episode will be Step 3.
Great episode...I think Rachael might be holding you back.
Ha, she's helping if anything. I did more research than usual with this install and it shows... but Rachael is probably what has kept me out of the hospital so far. She's my partner on this!
Living up to your name!
As always, I can't let people forget my roots by getting proficient at anything lol
You are killing me!
It’s killing me too!

That is sound advice for installing in cramped places. I'll look into it.
Those biceps looking hot when you were reaching under the dash 😘
Calm down, the man is happily taken (with his landcruiser)

I'm glad you're home honey.

I did not know this. Solid feedback man. Thank you.

Another phrase I’ll need to remember!
Actually tightening a bolt first often makes it easier to undo.
But you still need to know which way is which 🤣
But, I didn't know that so it doesn't count lol

No leaks man. But if there’s a better way, take it for sure.
Now you know how it feels when I film my episodes... I also spilled all my coolant, btw. Dont cut your radiator drainpipe, it gets super messy hahaha.
You know it bro, I'll probably do the odd solo video if wifey is busy or something.
@@projectwrongway9127 It can get you in some super akward poses, specially when you do something under the Car.

Mine is the 2F with a 1F intake, I’m not sure what kit it was but I believe it was probably geared towards the earlier intake I was using.
“I’m gonna inject some of this in those bolt holes” lol
Sounds "ultra gay" if you ask me! Haha
Exactly.
Don't put a fuel filter before the pump. Filters go after pumps. It's a fuel pump not a fuel suck.
Copy that.
First!!!!! lol
Great video mate
Yep. Lefty Loosey, Righty Tighty will do it every time!
Every time that gets me! Dyslexia!
@@projectwrongway9127 lol. I hear ya!
If Ron Swanson became a mechanic.
Jeez that’s a compliment.
You’ve gone full castaway. Lol I bought that same Riv-nut tool. Lmao
Things are hard when you're dumb.
Hey dude love the channel, you make me cringe/smile, but your getting there.
Gotta ask whats the story with the aussie rego plates.
I’m a big fan of Oz, and some kind souls have sent me some number plates. It’s a small collection, but I cherish it. Love Australia.
the word bung is almost as good as the word moist.
When attached to "hole" it enhances either.
The choke cable is rare. Don’t break it.
Entertaining as always but not quite the same without Rachel
I agree, but I learned I can technically do it alone if I need to.
Aussie Number plates ?
Yeah. I’m a big fan of the place.
@@projectwrongway9127 I live in Melbourne Australia, Love it
Maybe a hot neighbor could help you film. Just a thought
Always a possibility lol
