I've been trying to decide on cheek filler myself. All the before/after pics I see online seem to be middle age ladies with volume loss. What I have noticed is that I have lost the definition in my cheeks as I have gotten older. Thank you for this video, I now know that I can get a subtle result and still look good!
Wow. Great, informative video! I would love to see more 1 ml of filler videos on any face are. It is so helpful to see what 1ml does. Makes things less scary. THANK YOU!
Dr. Sarah Thank you for your wonderful content. I recently had Juvaderm and Botox done. Unfortunately, It didn’t go to plan. I think when I come to London next Summer, Would love to come in for a consult. Thanks again for videos with male clients.
How is facial asymmetry caused? My face is really similar to this with one side of my forehead flatter than the other, one of my eyebrows lower down, one of my cheekbones smaller and one side of my lips smaller as well. Basically the whole one side of my face is smaller than the other. What causes things like this is it to do with the spine and how the persons posture is or something?
I’ve heard from makeup artists that almost everyone is naturally asymmetrical in various degrees. I even worried I had a low-grade slow facial palsy happening when I noticed my own, but that’s not the case. It’s very normal.
@@DrSarahTonks My jaw is much bigger on one side, and it is definitely becoming more visible with age -- and it's a bit more extreme than these examples, such that when I was a baby it made my mom panic and take me to the doctor to make sure it wasn't something horrible like a tumor. Haha. I never knew there was a treatment for the most obvious of my facial asymmetries -- at least that would make it less noticeable -- that didn't involve some kind of invasive bone-shaving surgery. I don't know that I could ever afford it, but it's kind of comforting that it's available. I also have a very noticeable deviated septum, which affects my breathing, but the surgery to repair it sounds very unpleasant. I'm pretty much noticeably-to-others (as in I get comments on it) asymmetrical all the way down, my rib cage sticks out, and further on one side so that I can't even lie on that side comfortably (I was taken to the doctor even younger for that). I always imagined I was squished when I was very young. Hahaha.
Hi, I'm doing research in this issue for some time now and have to say that malnutrition during early developing stages are the main cause of asymmetry. Also if facial muscles are not fully developed or receding over time due to injuries on the neck/spine that can cause impairment on your nerves that are controlling your facial muscles. check out TMJ method and if asymmetries are too big then let your spine and jaw be treated before undergoing plastic surgery.
The first guy was gorgeous and I preferred him before the filler too! The second one...are you the person who instructs RUclips to put those two recommended next videos in place? You say lets look at him smiling and at that exact moment both his faces are covered up with video previews :(
Am I the only the only one who liked the second guy better before? I feel like after the fillers he looked a little too perfect whereas before he looked like he had a natural charm to him🤷♂️
Sarah, What tip do you give to make eyes bigger? My eyes are small, and it gets worse when I laugh. What is the solution for me? I would love a video about it :)
Love your videos, very detailed! Do one on cheek bones+jaw line on (average looking) men, as these are the parts that most men think about doing! Cheers
Is there a way to do a brow lift that only concerns the lateral part of the brow? ( For male: not to get the feminine "arch", but to open up the eyes by lifting the tail of the brow a little bit 🤔?)
I hate fillers . Fillers make it worse it just streaches your shin and you have to keep going back for more..pluse its not always lose of volume but volume displacement to do it right liposuction and relocation.
How can you get that volume back beside the mouth, because my face is the exact same as that and in the after picture his mouth is still asymmetrical? And that volume beside his mouth is still there?
my face is very asymmetrical, my temple muscles, eyebags, cheek, lower cheek, jaw, neck and chin muscles as well as scalp muscles above ears are all droopy which makes my face ever big and less contoured.i wanted to know the estimated price if you want you get majority of the face done?
Nice! Can half ml make a visible difference though? If its placed under the muscle. As I mentioned before I was insisting that my Doctor places the cheekbone filler under the muscle to which he replied that it would be wasted as you wouldn't see it. I suspect that he went ahead and placed it over the muscle anyway because I wasn't exactly thrilled about how it looked when I smiled after! :( But he said he put it on the bone.. hmm lol. And by half I mean half each side.
Actually the presenter herself needs dermal filler and botox, or even plastic surgery! When people going to realize that plast(ists) are business man and they are far from medicine
ImaginaryMdA No one needs it, it’s just an option if you want it. Teach people to be the master of their own self-esteem and emotions instead of trying to be a nagging fussy daycare worker for grown adults.
well you made attractive people look even more attractive.
Nice job

Go for it Persnikety! Come back and let us know how it went 😎
My left side of face is perfect and my right droopy fatter and uglier how can that be fixed?

Minnie G it’s just how the bone underneath is not the same one side to the other- it’s normal and becomes more visible with age
Minnie G I have this too! My skin actually feels slacker on my right side of face too. I find it quite distressing 😭

Hi I dont believe so but I could be wrong
He should have rather a jaw adjustment than fillers, it looks like the left side is lower than the right side
Am I the only the only one who liked the second guy better before? I feel like after the fillers he looked a little too perfect whereas before he looked like he had a natural charm to him🤷♂️
love your work Dr
is it possible to do facial contouring in my twenties or it will look odd on young people ?
You are loved dr tonks

Love your videos, very detailed! Do one on cheek bones+jaw line on (average looking) men, as these are the parts that most men think about doing! Cheers
A. A. S. Will do!!!
Dr Sarah Tonks looking forward to that.
I don't mind my face, all I want is a really really tight defined jawline.😢😢
This is what we all want

Pol you can do it a little with Botox and fillers
I hate fillers . Fillers make it worse it just streaches your shin and you have to keep going back for more..pluse its not always lose of volume but volume displacement to do it right liposuction and relocation.
i love your chanel doc!! :)
Lior K awwww thank you!!

Love your top 💗
Fiona Segel ooooo thanks!
How can you get that volume back beside the mouth, because my face is the exact same as that and in the after picture his mouth is still asymmetrical? And that volume beside his mouth is still there?
Dylan Martin has to be treated separately
What do you get done to make the mouth more sympathetic then?

darsh Grewal oh wow that’s a really tough question. I honestly don’t know but I would estimate for all those areas it would start at around £5k
Guy 1 is already good looking
How long does it last, doc?
IgiveyouNONE about 12 months ish
Does it ever deflate/collaps?
Serene Jaamac the filler? Yes

dave Payneflip I think yes you can see a different with 0.5ml but it’s very slight. But that’s fine by me!
these people are nuts. i dont really see a difference. this is just massive insecurity on patients part.
Are the fillers temporary? If so, what's the point in getting them?
For the same reason you get a haircut I guess
@@DrSarahTonks I understand, though haircuts are a little bit cheaper
I would pay to even look like the before pictures lol
Is it permanent?
Why it happend.i have samme case
Actually the presenter herself needs dermal filler and botox, or even plastic surgery!

Had it all cheers, you are right tho I need more
Ha! 12 is a lot. Dr. Chan uses 1ml for the entire face.
But is this permanent??
This is not permanent!
Great
Is that a lamp on a trash can? 😂
Christian R yes! And you are literally the first person to say something!!
I don't see any difference.. just better lighting...
And here is a bit sort of .. meh lmao
Can a beard hide these problems
No, from experience.
Are you kidding me this is pathetic
