Absolutely love it, so cozy, warm and welcoming🤎🤎. Many times people will tell me that it’s like a museum and how do you live in it. For me, it’s not a decorating style, it’s the simplicity of a simpler time, so much peace in these old treasures that you find comfort away from the chaos of today. We live in ours for sure, 5 cats, 2 dogs, grandkids but these pieces have withstood hundreds of years and survived just fine. I use my cutting boards, oil lamps, candles, wooden bowls, etc. They aren’t just for display, they bring me comfort of a less stressful life out there and love it. It’s a feeling, not a style, it’s peacefulness

She must have had so much finding and decorating this house. This is one of the most primitive homes I’ve ever seen. So many beautiful things in this house. I want to achieve the old look of samplers but I need to know the cloth you cross stitch on because the regular aida cloth doesn't give that look. Can you tell me the secret to get that old look?
I agree, you can’t get that look with Aida cloth. I always use linen to stitch on because it looks like the old sampler cloth. Thank you for watching!❤️
