Every year, right after Thanksgiving, Brian Branton spends three full days transforming his historic home into a holiday wonderland. He decorates every room and on today's episode he is going to give us a behind the scenes look at his process---how he decorates 25 wreaths, hangs hundreds of feet of garland and wraps every single Christmas tree branch with lights...ALL IN JUST ONE WEEKEND. I regard him as a talent above all others. It is clear, you and I, shall not see eye to eye, which is what makes life a little more interesting. Taste is so subjective. I doubt I would like much of what you like and visa versa . The need to be rude on your part seems a bit mean spirited for no apparent reason. I was only giving Brain a well deserved compliment. May I kindly suggest you peddle your remarks somewhere else that they may be more appreciated. I seem not to relish your comments as much as you might have hoped. Cheers!

Brian’s home is the warmest, homiest house I think I’ve ever seen. He has the most exquisite taste. I love watching videos of his home. Such an amazing personality too.
My mother once told me that I had enough Christmas decorations and I responded, "You can NEVER have enough Christmas decorations!" Brian, you are man after my own heart and are pure joy! Your gorgeous home is even more spectacular all decked out for Christmas! (I LOVE that wallpaper in your bedroom and think the touches you made to integrate the colors are perfect!)
This is an episode I will watch more than once. Absolutely stunning decorations and Brian is such a great communicator- probably why he has the job he does. I see floral arranging in his retirement!

I used to decorate my whole house for Christmas but it's just too much for me, now. It was lovely to share Brian's enthusiasm for it! I wish I had half his energy. Everything is superbly done. I used to be a floral designer so the fresh wreaths, garlands and trees were especially appreciated.
What a magical Christmas home tour! We visited Colonial Williamsburg last Christmas, and this home really does evoke Williamsburg’s charming holiday aesthetic. Now excuse me while I go switch on my tacky outdoor Christmas lights 😜🤣 (but seriously, no offense taken!)

oh wow absolutely adore Brian. I went back and watched his home tour of last year and Brian you are looking better this year, slim and wonderful and so fun, full of ideas, stories and who would think you showing us of how you created a wreath with a glue gun! Fabulous. I wish home worthy would do a tour of your house during other seasons too. There is always something we can learn from watching, tips along the way and the fun of watching you alone decorate. Brilliant epic!
How does this darling, funny, authentic, warm human not have his own show? Seeing him once a year simply will NOT do. I never wanted this to end. I would literally watch him speak about anything every day.
This is the most Christmasy Christmas house I've ever seen. It's an inspiration! I love seeing all the different ideas for decorating that I can incorporate into my own home.

I adore his traditional home! I need a tutorial on how he strings lights without the ugly wires from showing through. How in the world does he keep all the greenery fresh?! I can't imaging constantly cleaning up the leaves and pine needles thru the month!

You are not alone- Hot glue threads frustrate every living crafter. Tip: try going over each finished project with a very warm hair dryer, and watch the threads & strands magically dissolve! Thank you for sharing this decorating process, your home is lovely.

I love the idea of layering colored lights over the white. Actually just many wonderful ideas. I've heard that a hair dryer will get rid of the glue webs. Thank you for giving us a wonderful tour of your home.
I do, inside and out. The shimmer is magnificent. I use different size bulbs also. WOW!

Your home is gorgeous! I love everything! Your memory tree makes me so happy because I have one too with 54 years of ornaments from family, friends, and places I’ve traveled. One year, after my kids were in their own homes, I put up a smaller themed tree. My kids hated it, so by a week before Christmas, I moved that themed tree into the dining room and put up a new larger tree with all the memory ornaments. It was extra work, and my kids were happy to help.Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

Love love loved this home and this tour. What an enthusiasm he has to entertain with every detail. Oh my gosh even climbing ladders hanging his own wreathes outside. I admire that. Can I get an invite? Can we come back for a tour to see his dining room completed for Christmas? I tell you my greatest thing I love seeing is how people decorate their powder rooms. Beautifully decorated. But the dog , yes the dog takes the show for me. Lol I wonder how any people painted their room orange because they thought he had painted it that colour .

The house is beautifully decorated. Next year... a sneak peek of the bar and food set up for the party or an invite. Sounds like a lot of fun.
Yaaaay!!!! This is one of my Christmas Wishes fulfilled. I love Brian!! This was such a treat. I must have watched last year's video at least 10 times. I'm sure I will watch this one equally as much. First, so glad Brian did not change the wallpaper in the bedroom! I love it and was wondering what he was going to replace it with. Second, the tree in the bedroom with the colored lights looks AMAZING! I did miss the plaid pants this year. And, lastly, a couple of tips for issues Brian had this year. 1 - when using a glue gun, squeeze the glue out, release the trigger, and move the glue gun in three quick circles before moving it away from the item you are gluing. It will eliminate 90% of those glue webs. 2 - The tree at Rockefeller Center does not arrive perfect. They save any branches they cut off and then they fill in the empty spots by adhering those branches with wire!! Don't want to add to Brian's work but if it really gets on his nerves, he has an option ...next year. This needs to be an annual video for Homeworthy because Brian is now a part of my Christmas traditions. THANK YOU!!!

In my opinion, the videos of Brian and his Alexandria home are the stars of Homeworthy. They are the ones that I rewatch from time to time and never tire of them. I cannot wait to see what he does with his new South Carolina home.

I sure wish I had that energy ! I have several physical disabilities . Hopefully one day I will be healthy again ! I spend a week but it takes me longer then normal. Adults kids don’t really care anymore. I love decorating ! 😊

This is not just a walk around and show your home. You present a real life show & tell that is beautiful to see but as you show a piece of your lovely decorations you inform the viewer how it is done, what you used and how you have changed it because something doesn’t work. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am glad you profess to have OCD , because that is evident but needed if you are going to create a beautiful background. Thank you. Oh my mother, too, used “gawdy” and I as well have adopted that word which describes many things to a ‘T’.
