From the time the Belle opened, it was always my favorite place. I remember every restaurant and shop that was open upstairs. Spent many hours playing live keno on the big board. The Paddlewheel restaurant had the best $1.99 ham steak and eggs breakfast. Can't forget the arcade, gift shop, Orleans room, Mark twains, captains buffet, and the Mississippi lounge. Some of the best times in my life for sure.

Spent many years working there as a security guard...I'd love to go back and walk through it just one more time

How sad to see it like this 😢. I always looked forward to gambling there any listening to the bands playing.

This video is 6 years old and before the hell of COVID. The hotel is closed now "forever" but the lights are still on. Not sure who is paying the electric bill? I am hoping some urban explorers can do a video of this hotel in 2024

I used to stay here with my family every year around the Fourth of July. The hotel became so much of a dump that we eventually switched to the Aquarius and even later the Golden Nugget. Before the switch we had been staying here annually for decades.. sad to see that it became a dump and then finally closed for good.

I forgot to add on to this, but I also remember when "Floor/Deck D" actually had venues in every occupiable space. It once used to be the second-busiest area of the Colorado Belle, only being beaten by the action on "Deck B" (the casino) of course.
