    As a former mall rat, it's hard to believe that the era of malls will soon be gone. In my teens, my mall was the place to be. I worked there, hung out with friends, even saw concerts there (New Kids on the Block & Tiffany!). Appreciate you and Brittany covering these locations before they are gone forever. I totally would have went into that Bath & Body Works outlet though. Take care 🖤

      Thank you Nicky 🖤 I'm so glad you enjoyed this one. I have a few more in mind to check out and one that is rumored to close very soon. I also worked at a mall for most of my teens. that's where all my friends were at so needless to say I was in the mall even on my days off. Thanks you again Nicky for taking the time to leave me a comment I always look forward to your comments.

    I was literally at this mall two weeks ago and found some great clothes and stuff at the stores that were still open. Having a grandma that lived in Bullhead, I remember before this mall existed and remember when it opened in 1998 or so. Saw many movies at those theaters, and bought many things in those stores. Crazy to see it the way it is now, I hope the mall can hold on and gain some more stores because it's a really nice spot. One would think the business from tourism alone would be enough to sustain it, plus the locals. But the mall has been struggling for many years, but at least it's decently busy every time I am there.

      @909Adventures  Год назад +4

      Wow your grandma lived near by i bet you have some great memories there. I also have family that lives out there but yeah I've been going to this mall since the early 2000s when i would visit and remember the mall not being nearly as dead as it is now. Hopefully it can hang on atleast a little while longer.

    I just went there a couple weeks ago too. The place was like a ghost town compared to how busy it used to be. The AC wasn't working in the theater, so we decided to go to a different place. Very sad, but now it matches the Colorado Belle across the street.

    • @909Adventures
      @909Adventures  Год назад +2

      Yes that's right the Colorado Belle is closed now to. It's amazing how such a touristy area like this is being struck with poverty. The casinos should invest a little into themselves and the area surrounding them to bring everything up to date and maybe the crowds will return because let's face it the casinos and the area around them look a little tired.

    Now, since you have made this video, maybe eight more stores have left before long there will be no stores except maybe two I don’t understand what the owner is doing. He is using as a tax write off it’s what different stores have said he doesn’t care he raises the rent and everybody leaves because you’re not making any money because there’s no advertisement or nothing. Somebody needs to take this place over and make it work. If I had the money, I would do it, but I did not have that kind of money

    MALLS....a huge part of many peoples Youth! Was THEE PLACE to hang out with friends...people watch...eat at The Food Courts...and find cool stuff from Special Stores ( Like Head Shops🤣) that were only located in Malls! Really is sad to see them disappear but it truly is a sign of the times! They will be extinct one day! The few Malls still operating here in COW-lumbus are literally Ghost Towns and at best they are "maybe" 30% occupied by retail. I'd suspect a good majority of the viewers in here got their very first job at A Mall! This particular Mall LQQKED really Clean too Jeff! 🤣 at no funding for powers doors at the exits! Enjoyed The Stroll with The 909 Universe"🖤" Cheers From COW-lumbus MOO Keep Strutting Everyone🙏

      Stuport thank you so much always look forward to your comments and yeah sadly malls for the most part are a thing if the past as malls are now usually filled with people looking for free AC in the summer and a place to escape the rain in the winter. And your very right about the whole first job thing as my first job at 13 years old was in the mall. Had some great times in the mall and because of my age and the younger adult crowd that were also friend and coworkers I probably grew up a little faster than I should have and the things that we did I'm sure nobody would get away with these days or even want to attempt 😉. I still kick myself for some of the things I passed or missed out on, I hope you are able to read between the line here as I try to keep this as PG as I can lol.
