Thanks for the tour. That mall has seen better days. This was a borderline “abandoned” themed video. Enjoy your last day in Laughlin! If you want a good steak there is a Saltgrass inside The Golden Nugget. Pat’s Ribeye and mashed potato’s with broccoli is my go to there.

I doubt if it had any days. I've been to Laughlin many times. Never knew it was there.

In the 1990's it was a very busy mall. My wife and I saw a couple of movies there

Yeah, can't see how even the casinos survive. Bullhead City has everything we need. Been coming to Laughlin every winter in Jan since 2009. Casinos bustling with people and lots of good buffet deals. Locals would come in to eat with their coupons. Saw a movie at the theater in that mall. Lots of people riding the Water Shuttle. Then Covid hit.
We were there and left right before that massive rain and flooding happened! We saw the videos, so terrible!
May be passing through again in 2024......

When I was there, the Riverside and Aquarius were super busy, the rest, not so much. I guess once Bullhead City got a WalMart, it changed alot.

Unfortunately. Too many malls across America are like this now

My dad actually helped build this mall and I spent a lot of time there as a kid and into my teens. It was extremely busy and had a lot of very popular stores until around 2006. It has steadily declined since then. The biggest problem was that the rent was just too high, especially for the location. The Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory and the Dress Barn are the only two original stores left. The Bath and Body Works was probably the biggest draw, but BHC just got it's own brick and mortar store so I imagine that will close soon too. Laughlin just isn't what it used to be. We used to even have Biker Weekend that would see over 100k tourists coming in, but after the shooting in 2002 it saw fewer and fewer people until it was basically shut down post-COVID. That just seems to be the trend, despite this being a popular tourist destination. It's a shame, but unless casinos are willing to put more money into modernization then that's just how it will continue to be. This mall, however, stands zero chance. As someone who has gone here for as long as it has existed, I can say with confidence that it has never once been remodeled. They never put money back into it. At this point, it just needs to be repurposed.

This mall shows the state of America, sadly. My wife and I in the 90's used to come to Laughlin maybe 4 times a year. Our little get away. When my wife passed away from cancer in 1998 I had not been back until last year. It was sad to see. Thank you for watching

Can't imagine working in any of those stores. Getting up on Monday morning to open up and wait for no one to show up. Boring. The day must go by super slow.

You are right but everyone in Laughlin seems so laid back that maybe it's normal.

Malls are dying and I consider this a good thing. At one time we all did our business in the downtown areas. We knew the people who we were buying from. The businesses were all locally owned . The malls then came along and the multi-national corporations decided to take all the business direct. The small downtown businesses were decimated. Now with all the malls closing the downtown districts are finally rebuilding.

Corporate America. On my channel I preach small business and family owned business. But Amazon, Wal-Mart And Government will never let it be the way it used to be.

They'd be better off developing in Bullhead City
