At this point i don’t trust them to not screw up anything else they touch, so i don’t even want them to be the ones to do big anime fighting games. They are actively making the game worse since season 4 release and ignore literally all feedback.
I think Trunks is the most winner from this patch. Autocombo with s + full screen, slash now bouncing, faster flips, lvl 3 which moves him forward, ki blast into masenko etc. I’m really glad that they buffed him this well.
1. The Beerus buff has been a long time coming 2. Android 21's Super can actually heal her to full health while its charging, so even if it doesn't go off it can save you in a pinch
Fun fact the Ginyu buff is actually a nerf sense in giving him a solo body change they removed alot of his other body change combos with Guldo I think its a bug I'm not sure though
it's not a nerf if you can do the combos anyways I'm sure. also can only do lvl 1 into lvl 3 with limit break. meaning you have to be the last member. which you don't want as ginyu, you want as much support as possible.
Once again, one patch, and it feels like a brand new game again. Im happy with the changes, some characters corner bnb combos are going to be need to be altered because they dont work the same. But overall its going to be fun learning new things

I already killed a guy online with 7 bars and gogeta blue (base goku and ssj4 gogeta for bar farming), literally tap their feet with 2m and they were death lol.
Since they added the skill that android 21 used in the story I wonder if they can add the beam attack that android 17 used in the tournament of power to help Goku and frieza take out jiren. I think it would make a great assist.
This patch is game changer. I took a break from playing waiting to see what the new patch does. I love it a lot. Will be playing more characters I stopped playing with.

Cell changes are beyond crazy, don't forget that ex pa is also a f1 anti air as well. And nappa received way too much. People overlook the different buffs because of the saibamenbuff
I love it. The devs dared to question how far they could take the patch and answered "yes." I see a lot complaints about dumping meter for damage, but isn't that the point of meter dumping? To pump damage? Idk, I like it. The only thing I disagree with is buffing top tiers but everyone is crazy at the moment so maybe they somewhat needed it. Who knows at this point? The meta is about to hard shift.

SS4 Gogeta got better, Jiren is ridiculous now, Gotenks got better, Gogeta Blue got better, Vegeta Blue got better, Broly is ridiculous, Beerus is insane. I know the whole point of the patch is to buff everyone, but some characters are literally gods now compared to last patch.

Yamcha getting powercrept again with everyone having access to Level 4 on limit break, Base Vegeta doesn't even have to be on limit break.

Janemba's auto combo teleport is now invincible too. So that route is now viable.
